Name: David Camberians Appearance Age: 17 Personality: Being the son of a weapons magnate makes him rather disillusioned from the world. Some would describe him as stern, severe and 'stiff as a stick'. However, this also makes him disciplined and a strong leader. In the face of adversity, David will stand and fight until he is utterly broken. This ferociousness also spawns forth from his youth. Where discipline was mixture with the occasional outburst. For all the strength he possesses though, some would say he uses it wrong. He can be a bit of a bully, shoving away those he deems too weak or too unwilling to do what sometimes must be done. From the moment he got Ruina, he knew that he'd be forever do what is necessary. Even if that means the necessary evil. His life motto is "the ends justify the means." But do not think that he is heartless. He also learned that no man can stand alone against every challenge. Those he calls his friends will have his undying loyalty and trust. He'll stand with them against anything they need to fight. Abilities: Few expect it but David is actually a pretty good cook. Aside from that he writes to keep his mind occupied. He's also quite good in MMA. Some friends also know that he greatly enjoys creating ashen constructs. Even when they often crumble to dust soon after their creation. Powers Activated Spell: Ashen Constructs - David can create forms from pure ash. Ruina has often referred to this as a Legacy. Fire brings destruction and ruin. It renders all to the most base of matter: ash, carbon. These constructs, while sometimes even beautiful in their black and white, specked contrast are far from strong. In fact, even the slightest touch that is not David's (or anyone else who can manipulate ash) and the constructs would collapse. Summon Link: Imperium Ignis - While David cannot summon or create flames out of nothing, he can command, control and feed. This manifests itself as manipulation of fire. He can command flames to spread. Even over stone. Feeding them with his own energy. Furthermore he can turn a candle into a massive fireball. However, these abilities are completely powered by his emotion and will. If he wills the flames to move around him, they will. But the willpower must be strong enough. To develop more consistent results, he uses physical mnemonic. Binding physical movement to an expect result. Through training and habit-forming, he gains consistent results. And thus is able to uphold what can be rudely described as an illusion of control. Despite these expected results, emotions can still flare up and render them dangerously unpredictable. Gifted Power: Caer Incendium - Sometimes overwhelming power is required to beat down a challenge once and for all. Sometimes playing it fair or on an equal level will not yield the right results. Caer Incdenium calls upon the constantly hungering side of fire. The flames manipulated by David turn blue as the chemical reaction is fed a purer energy. The flames burn higher and hotter. Yet also consume themselves incredibly fast. David knows that once he calls upon Caer Incendium, the battle must end swiftly. So far, it always has. History: The Camberians are a family entwined with military service. In one way or another. David's father is a veteran from many wars (but not the Rift War) and inherited his father's company. Camberian International. A global weapons manufacturer. The Camberians often either served or worked at the family company. So they uphold a great pride in military service. Every child of the next generation must somehow prove itself. The smart by designing ever more destructive weapons and the strong by distinguishing them military service. That is David's fate as well. He was born as a second child. His brother proved incredibly smart, thus would become the heir. David knew from a young age that he'd have to join the army. His father did not come off strong and did not push him hard in one direction or another. Instead, he nurtured a sense of pride and honor in his son. When he was old enough, the old man often took him on camping and hunting trips. Teaching him much of the knowledge of his family. One thing stuck the most: to defeat an opponent thoroughly, you must utterly shatter them. Not just the armies. Not just the people. Hit first, hit hard and make clear that more is to follow should they stand up again. The Rift Wars had made the family even more wealthy and David's father thought to buy his son a present. One of the tablets. However, he knew full well what the tablets could do. Much to David's father's delight, the tablet started glowing and his summoned creature spawned forth. From that day on, David's fate had changed. Reign of ruin. Come forth, entropy. Ashes must be made. Abilities: Using her wings, Ruina can fly and soar through the skies. Though her size should be taken into consideration when it comes down to maneuverability. Also, she can inherently breathe fire. Element: Fire Elemental Gift: Imperium Ignis - Much like David, Ruina can control nearby flames and bend them to her will. However, for her it has less to do with will and more with nature. Flames naturally obey her rule. Meaning she has no use for physical mnemonic. Her control is inherent and completely expected. About: Many, at first sight, feared the dragon. For obvious reasons. However, after a bit of time they often realize that Ruina is actually pretty gentle. She doesn't toast most people. Yet it seems that she ignores most humans except for her Summoner. Ruina, at first glance, seems like a peaceful creature. Until she is either forced or asked by David, to fight. Then embers flare up into flames. Her gentleness is replaced by red-hot temper. She demands utter destruction of her foe. It's sometimes so bad that David must forcibly return her to the tablet. Never the less, she is a valuable ally. Though, when in her gentle state and alone (or with David) there seems to be almost something sad about her. Like she lost something she could never get back. There is a strange sense of passionate sorrow inside of her. Others: N/A
