[@Elevation] If we're talking marines, they would likely be either a Staff Sergeant or a Gunnery Sergeant if enlisted, or, if they're an officer, anywhere from a 2nd lieutenant to a captain.

I would assume, with a squad of 10 as Ozymandas stated, you could go either way with whether the squad leader is an officer or a sergeant.
