And part of me realized there was some information I probably forgot to include (i.e. that no one would know where Palladium Academy is or that it exists, save for people who attend the school or live on the island, but even then they would only know that it exists... and the fact that ATLAS has multiple operatives out there who either have superpowers or not who keep a look out for potential candidates for one of ATLAS' academies, or superpowered people who seek to use their powers for more selfish reasons.)

I'll get to adding that in. If your character has superpowers, their family would probably be approached by an agent if they were non-powered humans. If they were a part of a superpowered family, then they would probably receive a letter of invitation instead... I think I covered all my ground here.
