I've got some questions about the plot(some might be stupid .-.):

[*] Why did the immortals deem it necessary to kill off magi and lessen the chances of them being birthed?
[*] Since they unleashed magical creatures again, do they still roam the lands?
[*] Do any immortals still live or will it just be magi descendants that know little of magic?
[*] Did the Empire work with magi? In your post it states that they sent the strongest Magi to fight against the mysterious amulet-user.
[*] What is the 'Wall' that you're referring to when the amulet-user ate everybody's souls?
[*] I'm assuming that the Empire didn't destroy EVERY piece of magical equipment since there's access to magic rings to enable the magi-using characters to use magic.
