Watching the two exchange glances, the young woman finally spoke she expected a rather different story. Part of her had doubt, but the other part didn't as Ruth hardly could shoot a gun herself. A moment of silence fell upon her trying to think of any possible situation they could of been in for the need of such. But if the Germans were here I suppose they could of had to shoot someone in order to stay in their home. Ruth shooked her head to herself, that couldn't be right.

The woman begun explaining about her friend and how they changed, which led Ruth looking at a trapped door. With whatever time you did have on the front lines, have you ever seen anything like this? The young woman said which only worried Ruth. She looked at the woman before kneeling down and opening the said trapped door, she could already smell fresh blood but there was already a rotting smell as well, which would of usually indicated it's been there awhile. Before fully opening the trapdoor she took a deep breath, then opened up determinedly. What she saw would be repulsive to any human being.

Looking down the burrow, the thing that now laid dead hardly looked human. Unless it was more than a gunshot, it was hard to believe that this was from a single gunshot. Ruth pondered for a moment before looking up at the woman then back at the older gentleman.
"I can't believe this was from a single gunshot, however if you're asking me if I ever seen anything like it; must mean this is why you shot him. To answer your question previously, no I have not. But I have heard odd rumors about these kind of things...though stories vary." Ruth stood back up on her feet turning around to face the both. "I'll have to do a full examination to get a better idea what happened to that person. Until then all I have is rumors."
