[@Dynamo Frokane] Yeah, I started on the mech first, and then I saw that everyone was making light mechs. I guess we'll just have lots of light mechs

[@vietmyke] I'd say it would probably depend on what the barrier is absorbing as it would be silly to for a stray flak pellet to do as much damage as a high velocity bullet. I left strength of the barrier vague because I didn't know how to balance it against the other weapons. Probably one solid hit (taking the entirety of a flak round, sniper round, charged-up melee strike) would take down the barrier.
