They said not to speak English they didn't say anything about speaking the native language of Vampires. Tatiana was trying to work out her character in mind. She was in back of a plain white van with creepy looking scientists, so she went with scarred little kid. She altered her appearance to that of a little girl around eight years old. When they got close to the facility she started wailing, her wailing was fueled by her grief. She really shouldn't have used her family's death as a source of inspiration, after their deaths she focused on venting her anger on any random stranger or animal that crossed her path then to becoming stronger and protecting other Vampires, she never allowed herself to mourn, her fake crying turned into real crying. Rose Mary planned on pretending to be mute. She didn't like talking much anyway. Her first year in foster care she never said a word. Her teachers thought she was broken in the head they wanted her foster parents to send her to a therapist, her foster father refused. She didn't speak because she had nothing to say. She found most people spoke way to much and said very little that was worth saying. Especially adults with political power. She really didn't like listening to baby Tatiana crying, it was like fingernails on chalkboard. She concentrated as hard as she could to make her ears disappear, but the damn crying was just so distracting. So she just jammed her fingers into her ears as far as she could.
