Malone absolutely cannot be the heart with how broken she is at the moment. She is edgy, but her edginess would only show through when on the hunt. Otherwise she would be polite and almost withdrawn. Admittedly she's had some time to 'cool off' after leaving the Bureau in that dramatic way. She's 35 currently and her last big case was when she was 33, so she's had a year to dip her toes in the paranormal pool, until she finally found the Sunday Group.

But, yeah... I think we'll need a bit of time to settle within our characters and see how it goes.
