Things were going bad to worse to disastrous in rapid succession. There was barely even time to think anymore as the monsters oppressive might all but oozed from its body. The air was becoming thick, too thick to brearhe reliably, forcing him to gasp for air despite knowing fully it would do no good.
The weight on his shoulders ended as the girl, Blair, shrugged herself off to help Enju who had fallen down amidst the paniced rush.
Now they were both in its path again.

He'd failed to be of any help at all.

Now they were all gonna be slaughtered lile cattle.

Vines of sickly energy grasped his legs.

No way out..

The vines grasped both girls as he watched in mute horror.

Gotta do something.

Mind going a mile a minute, Jack dropped as low as he could to scrounge along the ground for something, anything, that could be of use.

Gotta fight it. Gotta fight it!!

Driven to a corner out of fear and desperation his fingers closed over a smooth round shape. Standing tall as he could, fighting the roots on his legs, Jack brought the rock up high behind him before letting fly as best he could in such an awkward stance as he aimed for what he hoped were eyes.

"OOOOI!" Shouting at the top of his lungs, between gasps of air, he waved like a madman at the creature. "I'M RIGHT HERE Y-YOU.. FREAK! COME GET A PIECE!"

In his heart there was no fear now. No doubts. If this was how he met his end then it would be done head on. Even if it meant sacrificing himself to give the other two even a few seconds of hope that someone would come for help.

"No need. I ain't gotten it to work either."

Let's take 'em down together.

Benkei.

Sitting still wasn't really in him, so he'd gotten up to pace the length of the room ages ago. Kimiko had it handled, so he didn't really bother speaking up either. There wasn't any question for him. If it had happened once, it could happen again. If he let it. They'd won a battle but the war was still going and he wasn't gonna turn away.

He felt a massive hand on his shoulder again, even though he knew it wasn't really there.

"I dunno what to call it. That backup I mentioned, whatever they are, they're not normal either. We brought 'em here." Persona. That was the word he'd heard, before the card appeared. Or maybe he hadn't heard it, maybe he'd just known it, but it wasn't something he'd learned by himself. "Persona's the word I'd pick. Don't really know what else to call a warrior almost twice my height. They're the reason we won. Kimiko's right, I'd be dead a dozen times over without it. But it ain't really an it, either."

The semi-reformed delinquent gripped his shirt by the collar and pulled it up over his head, letting the garment hang loosely from a finger while he turned to show his back. It was pretty clear what he meant, but he pointed at the spot he'd gotten stabbed anyway. Sasori'd made sure it got stitched up after the fight, but it still hurt like a bitch. The wound was pretty small on the surface, but a lot deeper than it looked. He'd gotten a good look at what caused it... When it hit Benkei.

"Ice spike from one of the 'bots. Didn't hit me, hit Benkei. But I got stabbed." He turned to face the group again, giving a rolling shrug of his shoulders. Didn't need to freak Kazou out too much, showing off the places he got hit. He did need to see, though. Not just for the explanation, but to understand it was serious. "Not a genius, but seems to me that if Benkei getting hurt means I do then there's more than a bit of me in him."

"But I haven't been able to do it again. And if the spooks take another shot, and we can't figure out how to bring 'em out... Well, I mean, I got some knuckledusters but that ain't gonna do much."

@Crimmy Hans took a deep breathe, and tried to figure out what was going on one moment he was in the city filled with cars, and people...and the next instant? He was nowhere, and surrounded by nobody. What the hell was going on? Did....did he pass out? Stroke? Was this some sort of strange hallucination? Hans tried not to panic he knew that something had to be wrong but his stomach felt like it was ripping itself apart with sudden anxiety. "I....I guess I'll have to look around...doesn't look like going back is an option...if there is a back to go to..." Hans mumbled to himself as he carefully began moving towards the open door. He looked around the suburban area wondering where exactly he had went. He was also looking for any sign of life. He wasn't exactly sure if things were going to work out. But he needed to do something, anything, to just get an inkling of what was going on. There was no use screaming out for help, or looking for people that way. Doing that in horror movies typically ended with you getting screwed. Best to take his bets and keep quiet until...something happened.

Hanazawa's reaction was actually kind of cute. Then again, most people would probably get a little nervous when presented with a weapon. No, there wasn't a whole lot of fighter in that girl, but hopefully she'd have enough instinct to want to protect her own hide when the danger happened.

At the question, Jin chuckled, and in a higher, sweet and singsong feminine voice, they spoke. "Hi-mi-tsu-da." There was a wolfish grin on their face that didn't match the girl voice at all.

Without warning, Jin flipped back to their usual speaking voice, which was an octave lower and not half as chipper. "Seriously though - assuming we get out of this, there will probably be questions. It will be easier if you don't have to make up a lie." Turning to the blocked off door, they examined it closely. There were just too many questions, and not enough time to find the answers. Jin looked up at Ryoma, obviously uncomfortable.

"I don't know, sempai. That's obviously been blocked from this side, right? So whatever's in there may not be friendly. Then again, we're already in trouble, aren't we?" Jin's whole body bristled with the idea of cold, of freezing to death.

"I'm okay with opening it, mostly because we don't have a whole lot of choices. I just wish I could call my power up." Jin started to nibble on the knuckles of their hand, eyes flicking back and forth as if they were trying to work out a particularly complex equation. "Maybe... maybe saving my life used it all, or something. I really hope not. It would be a hell of a waste."

With a shake of their head, Jin snapped their thoughts into focus. "I'll open it. You be at the ready with your Anubis. Hanazawa-san, if anything comes out that you think you can handle, you stab it, okay? Does that sound like a plan to you?"

A few blocks away from the park, close to the pink light.

_______________________________________________________________________

'I can't be imagining that light.' Ishido thought, as he slowly paced closer and closer to the pink light - which was noticeably glowing. 'I just can't figure out why that lady can't see it.'

Ishido was almost entranced by the light. It had his full attention... Ishido was keen on learning more about the strange light. Again, it certainly wasn't something he'd heard of before. He couldn't recall Mr. or Mrs. Yoichi mentioning strange, pink lights before, and if he knew their significance in his past life as who knows who; he sure didn't know.

However, while Ishido was focused on the light... he had clumsily hit his left leg against a curb, causing Ishido to lose his balance with an audible gasp. Fortunately for Ishido, he'd fallen onto grass... and he held onto his phone, still in the navigation app. But this hardly fazed Ishido Yoichi, who simply stood himself up and continued heading closer and closer to the pink light.

"I feel a little weird." Ishido muttered to nobody in particular. "But I don't know why..."

Ishido moved his hand to his eye as he grew ever closer to the pink light. He felt as if something in his vision changed, but he didn't know what, or even how.

A few blocks away from the park? bGuREjBEyQ qhATrbA

Hans' steps were quiet and muffled as he followed the strange pink strand up towards the doorway. In the eerie, silent foggy world that he had found himself in, the ajar door, allowing only a small peek into the darkness within, was the only other thing beyond him that could signify the presence of actual life. Everything else - from the aging brick of the house to the greying concrete to the dully-coloured grass - was hazy ... indistinct.

The door didn't change as his approach closed in upon it. Even despite the faint golden fog that tinged everything, he could see an inky blackness past that small gap, and the barely visible tiling of the genkan that awaited.

---

"Hey kid, you fine?" asked the woman concernedly as Ishido fell onto the grass, eyebrows raising up even though her eyes were obscured by her shades. "I dunno - uh, I'm not sure of this pink light that you're seeing. Do you need to see-"

She was stepping closer, but the final words never made it out of her throat. The strange atmosphere fell over Ishido, and suddenly, the woman was gone. In an instant, the world had transformed from the clarity he had expected into a hazy, golden fog. Every sense was dulled. Even the discomfort from his fall would feel like nothing.

The scent of grass wasn't there. Everything had adopted an indistinct aura.

The woman was gone.

The only thing behind him was a shimmering membrane, a flickering illusion that seemed to disappear every time he would close his eyes. It was the only source of noise, particularly when even his phone no longer seemed to be as active, pulsing faintly with strange, familiar sounds, but they were gone as soon as they had arrived, waxing and waning with the membranous air's fading and materialising. An eerie pall.

Except ... it wasn't the only source of a faint sound.

Ahead of him, closer to the ajar door of the house was a boy. A boy of his age, seemingly following the ethereal strand of pink.

A boy that seemed curious about the house.

Uchima Senior High - A Hallway, 1st Floor, Classroom Building???

"Eeh, Takahashi-san, I think stabbing someone is a「big problem」," replied Ai with a mild awkwardness, even as she still gripped tightly onto the hilt, shuffling closer to Ryoma. Her atrocious English accent aside, the third-year girl clearly seemed like she was still unsure of where everything was going, but with her underclassman producing a knife, the monster that was somewhere on their tale, and the general superpower-y stuff that they were all wrapped up in, it was pretty obvious that she was at least trying to just stay with the flow, no matter how much everything felt like a plot from a late-night anime that she still didn't own the DVD of. "And hey! Why does Ryo-kun get to be called senpai and not me? That's not fair at all!"

And she did her best to stay afloat by trying not to worry about all the fearful things that made her body tremble and her hands clutch onto somebody else's knife in worry. In this instance, it was the faux-indignation (and grumpy pout that kept shaking as she tried to hold in a smile) in her voice as she addressed Jin. Even though she was a third-year too, the younger student wasn't showing her any respect there! That was super lame! 「Uncool」!

"I'll call you Jin-kun instead," she grumbled out, though the worried, scared look in her eyes as they trained themselves upon the barricaded door were definitely different from her attempt at grumpily trying to keep her spirits up. "Or Jin-chan? No, TakaJin? ... Taka-taka~?"

Her brows furrowed.

"Um, 「T-Money」 ...?"

As she trailed off awkwardly, realising that she was losing steam in the "try and raise everyone's spirits", there was a bump at the door.

A bump that had followed the sound of what clearly had been footsteps.

Human footsteps.

Something was inside. Someone was inside.

Someone who had noticed Ryoma knocking, and someone who might have heard them.

The faint sound of breathing beyond the barricaded door.

Ryoma was watching Ai and Jin talk, he couldn't help but hold back a goofy smile, these two are just plain adorable with their discussion although he didn't agree to giving Ai a knife, but it was ultimately for the best, at the moment, they didn't know what could be around any corner and Ryoma and Jin might not be fast enough to protect her. Its a thought that frighten him but he decided to hold back his worries for a moment and take in this moment of levity between the two. Whent he two arrived next to him he took in a breath and decided to use his very limited amount of English to help lift the mood. "「Let's do our best team!」" He said in a very thick Japanese accent, he remember hearing these words used in 'Phoenix Ranger Featherman Victory' a show his little siblings watch all the time and one he hard pressed to admit he likes.

Ryoma expression turned sheepish as he thought how silly his accent must sound to Jin, "Y'know speaking English is hard... but its impressive that you can speak both that and Japanese, Takajin!" Ryoma said brightly for the first time in awhile, Ryoma always admired people who could more languages then he can, which isn't hard to do, but its still impressive. Ryoma's expression turned sheepish again as he realized what he said and he scratched the back of his neck awkwardly, "Uh, you don't mind me calling you that do you? It's a cool nickname for you and I feel it suits you somehow..." Ryoma admitted awkwardly.

Jin spoke up asking if opening the door was a good idea before they admitted they had little choice, as well as voicing their concern over being unable to summon their persona. Ryoma scratched his chin for a moment and considered what to say next before he nods his head, "We really are deep in trouble... And I think you can summon your power... its like a natural instinct for me and I think its universal... I think. But trust your instincts to carry you here ... it got us this far already and I believe you can do it." Ryoma spoke as supportive as he could muster.

Suddenly, Ryoma can hear sounds from within the room. Footsteps, Breathing, and a bump. He tensed up, this was worrying, either this was a monster or somebody locked up a poor kid within the room. Jin Spoke up and forming a plan on the spot. Ryoma nodded and took a wider stance and prepared for the worst case scenario, Ryoma was ready to attack with all his might.

"Open it, Takajin, I'm ready for anything." He really wasn't. But for Jin and Ai, he's willing to fight anything to protect them.

A Lifeless Street, Cloaked in Golden Fog

A golden fog stood before Ishido. Where had it come from? For Ishido, that was something he couldn't decipher. Ishido had simply approached the shimmering pink light, only for the strange fog to appear.

'This is weird...' Ishido thought, having stopped in place to look around. But something became clear to Ishido... the woman was gone, and so were any cars that were previously on the street. There was not a soul in sight, or at least... one that Ishido could see.

'It must be night...' Ishido concluded, though he'd seen it was previously day mere minutes ago. 'It doesn't look like it, but... maybe. People go home at night, after all.'

But the golden fog posed another question. What was it? It was one of many things that Ishido had never heard of... all thanks to his shattered memory, most likely. Ishido had never heard anyone speak of the golden fog, or mysterious pink lights that felt as if they beckoned people to them.

'If I didn't have this amnesia,' Ishido pondered, still scanning the area with his eyes for anything of note. 'I bet I'd know about this stuff. It's probably something everyone else knows about, but I don't... I'm getting used to that.'

Ishido's thinking was swiftly interrupted by a realization. He couldn't feel his phone in his hands...! Hurriedly, Ishido looked downwards, towards the grass below... but his phone was still in his hand. However, he was completely unable of feeling it.
But, more importantly... something about his phone seemed off. It seemed to be pulsing, and making strange, yet familiar noises. But these noises lasted for only a simple instant.

These strange happenings confused Ishido. Someone more experienced with the world would find the situation abnormal, perhaps even paranormal - what with the mysterious pink lights only he could see, the mystic golden fog, and his phone suddenly playing up...

But Ishido was almost new to the world. He'd woken three months ago, no recollection of who he was - with fragments of knowledge. He knew some things, but found that he didn't know all sorts of things that others could recall in a moment. To Ishido, all of the strange happenings were normal things he wasn't used to.

'I've never heard of anyone talk about this gold fog or pink light... but I'm sure it's normal to other people... it's just weird because of my memory.' Pondered Ishido, lost in thought. 'If I see anyone, I'll ask them, like I usually do.'

But, then, Ishido heard some noises. Curiously, Ishido looked around once more; and immediately caught sight of something he'd somehow missed. Ishido had spotted another person in the golden fog; and another form of pink light, along with an open door.

'I wonder what they're doing here.'

Ishido chose to head towards the boy. He wasn't fearful - he didn't know what to be fearful of, in this case. Instead, he was merely confused and in search of answers. And perhaps that boy had the answers Ishido sought?

After all, Ishido perceived the situation as normal, but something that he simply didn't have experience with. For all Ishido knew, other people were used to the golden fog and pink lights... other than the lady than before, of course.

“Per…” Hitomi’s eyes took me from Kimiko’s pale hand handing her mouth a fry to… She didn’t know where she was.

I felt love.

Hitomi snapped out of her trance and munched down on the fry. Hitomi thought that was love. The perfect crispness, a fair amount of salt, and a little bit of love. Hitomi hadn’t really known love in her life. One was supposed to love their family, but she never really did. She knew it was a terrible thing to think. But they had shown her that wishing the best for someone wasn’t really the same thing as true love. She had seen what Daisuke and Kimiko were talking about. Daisuke had saved Hitomi’s life with his… Persona?

“So…” Hitomi watched as a general took her arm and threw her on the bed. He stood dutifully at the door. Ready for what was about to come. The door burst open and a spear drove its way through his head. She waited on the bed, but they did not harm her.

She wanted to know what they were. She felt an almost burning sensation in the pit of her heart. She wanted to understand these Persona.

“Na?” She watched as the fire burned away the flesh of her lover. But as the fire hissed at her, she began to realize that Paris wasn’t right for her. Did she ever truly love him at all? Where was Menelaus? Why was she in Troy? She didn't want to marry Deiphobus.

Who was Paris? Or Menelaus, or Deiphobus? Why did she know these names?

Why was she remembering these things that had never happened to her?

Hitomi tightened her grip on Kimiko attempting to ground herself to reality. Not tight enough to cause any discomfort, but she lowered herself down so she was essentially laying on the girl’s back. The girl calmly stared out at the ensuing conversation and munched once more on the fry being offered to her.

“I’ve been seeing someone too. She was really tall, and beautiful...” She said quietly, almost silently hoping that no one heard her. “I think something is happening to us, that might be bigger than us.”

@Crimmy Hans briefly considered his options right now he was in the middle of some unknown location, unless his mind was playing tricks on him and he was currently unconscious. Hans breathed in calmly and looked around him nothing was coming out to get him just yet. In an attempt to play it safe Hans decided to check first before going into the house. Hans reached out and formed a fist and knocked on the door that was ajar. He did it loudly hoping that either nothing would respond, or if something inside would come towards the door way at least then he had a chance to spring back where he came from. Going into the house seemed like an unwise choice. Whatever this decrepit place was it was alien to him and he didn't like it. Hans steeled himself for surprise if there was any to come.

A Lifeless Street, Cloaked in Golden Fog

As Ishido approached the boy and the house, he began to wonder. What was the boy doing here? Nobody else was around. Perhaps he lived in the nearby house, with the ajar door? In such a case, perhaps he knew what was going on?

But then, Ishido caught sight of the boy knocking on the ajar door... perhaps the boy was a visitor, someone coming by to say 'hello' - just like people did with the Yoichi family... or perhaps the boy simply wanted out of the fog. Ishido was beginning to feel that way himself; the fog didn't completely obscure Ishido's view, but it certainly made it harder to see than normal... which was a bit of an annoyance to Ishido.

Ishido's next move was to try to call out to the boy at the door. Surely, he'd know what was going on... wouldn't he?

Sasori and Co. Investigations

"Let's hope they're darbs and touch before Old Scratch gives a good poke."

If the kids were dropping their nickels on the caper, even knowing there'd be a heavy wrecking crew, then he'd have to take them. They were already deep with the city's queer, even if their iron men weren't fully around. None of them were just gonna take a thumb, and definitely not the bearcat, not when Nuts and Bolts' circuits thought she was a real yegg. If he got their number right, they were hard guys who wouldn't go without knowing the score. Shamus like him wasn't.

But if a big jam they couldn't tangle with wanted to know what was tricks, he wanted them to dust it before any characters tried to send them upriver.

"Without the bird, I'm gonna go hit up some stool-pigeons," said Sasori, rising from his chair. "Come along if you want. If not, try to dodge any mills with the foreign fingers."

Kimiko Maita & Yatsufusa

@Crimmy | @Suku

Kimiko watched in astonishment as her two allies summoned forth their own inner power. For the first time in a very long time, the young priestess felt a surge of confidence flow through her as she gripped the facsimile of a weapin she held. We are not alone. We can do this! Yatsu, we can do this!

Now you are catching on, Princess, came the response from the wolf. Kimiko nodded, donning a resolute smile.

"Kaede-san! Kagami-san! Call out if you are hurt! We can do this. We WILL do this! Yatsufusa, guide my blade!" Kimiko's voice called out clear above the fray as she rushed forward, slicing her blade horizontally through her fie, watching the flames flicker and dance on the edge of her blade. A sidestep and a graceful retreat, and Kimiko returned to her previous stance. "I do not know entirely what is going on, but I am sure we must dispatch these foes before we can escape. Success is but a matter of time, now that we have our Personas to aid!"

His body ached with pain, battered from the flames that had licked his arms and melted fabric into his arms. Yet despite the vivacious reality of every feeling, his skin burning and screaming for relief, it was not what his mind chose to register, swept underneath the waves of adrenaline and triumphant sense of power that was flowing through his very veins. The magic spell that Maita had cast upon him that had yet to fade, boosting his speed and reactions to levels he hadn't thought possible.

Levels that would let him help.

"Zio!" Kaede cried out once more, the waves of energy rising above him as Oberon leapt forth, driving a bolt of lightning into the foe trying to bullrush past Kimiko - the same foe that he had struck initially. He wouldn't let it get past.

And neither would Kimiko, it seemed. Her blade, though merely an impersonation, struck the burning creature hard, the orange sparks licking its surface as they edge of the fake weapon slammed against something solid, bludgeoning the wounded thing back several steps. It staggered, black smoke rising from its charred, flaming mass as it tried to reorient itself.

One more hit seemed likely to fell it permanently.

Yet Kaede did not deliver that attack. The effects of the boost in speed were fading, and his attentions had changed to the other of the fire monsters, this one trying to flank their group, and was successfully closing in. With the last dregs of the boost, he wouldn't let that happen either.

The fairy king emerged.

The monster's arm found itself with a gash, an Arm Chopper taken that let fire burst out in a painful, horrifying sight.

He could feel his speed leave.

"We can do this," he murmured to himself.

I can save them.

The foes were open, their guards lowered for the teenagers to take advantage of.

Jin actually looked vaguely embarrassed at Ai's declaration. With all that was going on, this was was what she decided to focus on? Maybe it was the older girl's way of trying to be calm. "I... forgot, that's all. You can be Ai-sempai if it bugs you that much." A little smile lit their features. "I don't mind -kun, but only my aunt and uncle call me -chan. And they only get to do that because they feed me."

Jin wrapped a hand around the doorknob, sparing a glance back at Ryoma. "I can live with Takajin. Makes me sound tough." They'd never seen Ryoma smile so freely. It made his whole face different. Odd, that he could smile in these circumstances. Not all of the rumors surrounding him were false - he had to be tough as hell to summon a grin like that.

"If you want, later..." Jin promised them all, silently praying, that there would be a 'later'. "Later I can help you brush up on the English. It's hard. Not impossible." With an exhale, Jin snapped their eyes to the door. "This... will also be hard."

Holding up one hand, Jin counted down silently.

Three...

Two...

ONE.

In one motion, Jin pulled the board and opened the door.

Blair

So this was it, huh? She never thought that her life would end like this... trapped in some weird unknown location together with her best friend and a stranger boy who she didn´t know well. All at the hands of a massive monster, a creature Blair never thought existed. It was such a weird case too, who would´ve thought that monster existed? And furthermore, that she would end at the hands of one?
Too many different thoughts were going through her head, it was almost like she lost her connection to the outer world. Everything around her went blurry and between the shouts from the boy, which she couldn´t understand anymore because everything sounded to her as if it was far far away, and the creature who was preparing itself to end their pityful existance, it was only Enju what Blair could see.

Because just when the girl thought that it was all over, Enju fell onto her and clinged herself to Blair´s body. The pink-haired girl snapped out of her trance and looked down on her cute friend who was crying on her shoulder while hugging her very tightly. Enju was scared for her life and so was Blair. There really was nothing she could do... was there?

People say in the last moments of your life, you see your life flash before your eyes. But that´s not true, not for Blair. She only saw the one thing in her life that was important to her. The one thing that was worth protecting. The one thing that was worth fighting for. She saw Enju. Her best friend who had always been there for her. Blair swore to herself that she would never lose Enju when she was little... and would she simply give up on that promise now? No. She wished to protect Enju. She had to protect her.

Blair slowly opened her eyes and saw Enju´s face below here with tears streaming down her pretty cheeks. There was no way Blair would let her best friend die. "I have to protect her!" the girl thought to herself.
"So you want to protect her?
A soothing yet determined female voice echoed through her head. It sounded like it came from all directions possible at once and it was incredibly and unbearingly loud.
"You have finally found your reason to open your heart."
Blair closed her eyes again and both of her hands grabbed her head in agony. The pain that was shooting through her head was almost killing her, it felt like it would explode soon. The girl´s body was cramping and she was bending forward in pain while groaning quite loudly.
"Prove yourself worthy."
She was grinding her teeth together, clawing into her hair with her fingers.
"Let me give you the power you need. Let´s make a pact."
Tears started to stream down Blair´s face too, her whole body was cramping and tensing up. Adrenaline was shooting through her body and reducing the pain.
"I am thou, thou art I...Release your inner light and let it blind your foes!"
The groaning stopped and an intense golden light started to emerge from Blair. She removed Enju´s grab from herself and screamed out desperately a certain word which she had never used before. It just felt natural to her and she knew that it was what had to be said.
"...Persona!"
When this word finally left her throat an even brighter light erupted from deep within of her soul. It was almost blinding to anyone who dared to stare directly into it. The shine stopped after a few drawn out seconds and in its place, right above Blair, now was another unknown creature. A bird with golden feathers and a beautiful circular pattern on it´s tail feathers who were painted in red and yellow moved its wings gracefully above her head. The wings contained a stunning red pattern of colors towards the inner wing and its eyes were glowing in an immensely bright white light.

Once again, Blair knew not what she was doing. It all was just sort of... there in her mind.
The girl stood up straight now and looked directly at the beast in front of her. A determined look filled the crimson red eyes of hers. She knew what she had to do now. Blair took a deep breath and said these words with a passionate voice so that it would echoe through the nearby misty streets.
"Iyashimasu.... Kouha!"
After she finished saying that word, the bird let out a loud noise before a beam of light erupted from its beak. The beam was bright in its intensity and was flying right towards the ungodly beast that was towering in front of the group.

@AGenericUserHans heard a generic noise shouted out from behind him he didn't think much of it at first the fog was probably playing tricks on him but then he heard the foot steps. Hans turned around and looked at the boy, "Well I suppose you don't know any more about our situation than I do you? You wouldn't have happened to come here because of some strange pink light would you? Normally I don't like to act rude against strangers, especially in a place like this, but being freaking teleported is not normal either." Hans stated calmly but he was nervous inside he wasn't sure if he could even trust this new guy.

Uchima Senior High - A Hallway -> Barricaded Classroom, 1st Floor, Classroom Building???

The end of the broom jerked to a halt right in front of Jin's solar plexus, the rush of air audibly distinct from the monotonous appearance of their hazy, eerily-constructed world or the distant, inhuman cries that seemed to have blended into one another into a dull mass of noise. Unlike the facsimile of the school they seemed to be growing more and more used to, there was a reality to the broom handle.

A reality gripped in the hands of a fiery, amber-eyed girl, her androgynous frame missing the uniform one would expect Uchima Senior High's students to have been wearing. Savoury confectionery was barely held between her teeth. Her gaze stared through untidy strands of grey hair, the broomstick slowly being pulled away from Jin.

If the trio of the students were to look past her and into the classroom that she was guarding, they would have noticed the distinct white "DETENTION" surrounded by fading chalk on the blackboard.

"Human?"

A hand had let go of the broom, and was inching behind her back.

The Park

"YOU. DARE?!"

The dazzling ray struck with vigour against the yellow-red torso of the monster, and its disgusting, surprised snarl filled the air, erupting from its fanged, animalistic maw with flaking spittle. Its long, flexible neck shivered and shuddered in pain, shaking in the wind even as it pushed through the attack, pulling its powerful arm away from its attempted attack to push the intense beam back. The light seemed to burn against the bulging muscle, but it dissipated as the creature roared once more.

Its assault on the trio had been stalled. It had been hurt. It had proved to have been hurt.

The guttural groan was proof of it.

Yet ...

It had seemed resistant. Iyashimasu's strike had not been entirely effective.

Gleaming red eyes - inhuman, demonic eyes - met Blair's own.

"I WILL. KILL. YOU."

The green coils tightened onto Jack and Enju, refusing to let them go.

Yet its attentions were not upon them.

It slammed its arms together, and a wave of pure, rippling force blasted through the air at Blair.

@Savo

Deep in the bowels of darkness, the mass stopped.

There was a scent. A disgustingly sweet scent, like fruit ripened beyond their time. A scent sickening and cloying, yet melding into a tangy odour of salt. Furred, sliming appendages - the smells oozing from their morass - slowly lifted Alexander's body upwards, as if feeding him to an irascible god, and the feeling of air - cold, musty and metallic air - against his skin was felt once more.

He was surrounded by an empty darkness.

The floor seemed far beneath where he hung, greying stone streaked with black char marks.

Every few minutes, there was a flicker of dull emerald light.

Something was hanging next to him.

And something began to crawl up his body once more.

The other boy had asked Ishido a question - that question being one related to the pink light Ishido had caught sight of earlier, the same one he'd chosen to investigate... this was interesting enough, but the boy spoke of being 'teleported'. Ishido had a rough idea of what this word meant.

According to the boy, they'd been teleported to their present location... Ishido hadn't considered it before, but it was certainly a viable possibility as to how Ishido found himself in his strange location. And, Ishido didn't think teleporting was too unusual. After all, he'd seen it a lot on TV and similar media. All of a sudden... the situation seemed a lot more normal to Ishido. He knew where he was - the street from before, and he knew how he'd got there - by teleportation. The fog was still strange, but what things aren't strange at first?

"A pink light teleported me here." Ishido calmly spoke. "I'm not too familiar with pink lights and stuff like that, though. It's my first time seeing them... and being teleported, too. I've seen teleportation a lot on TV though."

Ishido then stretched, and yawned. Shortly afterwards, a question pushed itself to the forefront of Ishido's mind... a question relating to the odd fog. What was it? Ishido was dying to know.

"Do you know what this yellow fog is?" Ishido inquired. "Is it normal? I don't know what it is, but really... I don't know what many things are. But I've never seen yellow fog like this."
