Prologue:
This is a tale, of hope, sacrifice, and betrayal. It takes place in the once lovely world of Arkanshire, but more specifically, it's once great capital, Siren's Call.
The city was built near the sea, with the hope that when people sail passed it, they would be filled with pride and joy. The city could easily millions, making it the largest city in the whole kingdom. Built in the middle of the city, where all could see no matter where they are in the city, the king's castle. But, of course, nothing ever stays good for long. It all started with a ship, ready to drop off travelers and wears, and one simple, sick, rat.
In a few days, people started to get sick. If they were lucky, they would die. If not, their bodies would start to change, driving them insane, and leading them to do unspeakable things. After a month, the king could only do one thing, and ordered an evacuation of the city. It took a few more months to get everyone that was healthy out of the town, with everyone moving away to other towns, living with friends and family.
The king ordered that no one was to enter the town with special orders, and that they must go through the guard post a few miles out of town. But, that never stops looters and bandits. The once great Siren's Call is now just another ruin city, full of monsters, horrible people, and wonderful treasure.

*One Year after the Plague Started*
The wagon bumped along the road, with two guards on each side of it. The wagon was a royal purple, with a flag that had a knight wearing a crown, one foot ontop a dragon's skull. The flag of Arkanshire.
The driver let out a cough as he turned, opening a window to look at his passenger. It was a girl, no more than ten, reading a book.
"My lady, we are only a few hours away from the checkpoint. We will spend the night there, and then we'll only be a few days away from your father, and your new home." The driver told her.
"Thank you good sir." The young lady said with a smile. "Where are we now?"
"We are close to the old city. If you want, you can look out your window, and you should be able to see the castle." The driver said.
The princess nodded, opening the blinds and seeing the ruins of her old home. It was a sad sight, but it took her to memories of good times. Her sneaking around the castle in hidden passageways, her parents laughing as they walked around the gardens, and the smell of fresh baked.....
She snapped back into reality as the guards started yelling. She looked to see three of her knights trying to fight back some bandits. The last Knight had opened the door of her wagon, and was pulling her out.
"Princess, we need to leave, now!" He said, helping her out. He looked towards the woods, not to far away. The two of them could easily make it. He ducked low, taking her hand. One...two....thr
A loud bang rolled the air, and something hit the ground infront of them. The guard looked at the ground, seeing bits of a metal ball.
They have a musket. Which means they could have more guns. The Knight couldn't risk running the princess that way. He looked at her, then the old city. He knew he would regret this decision, but they might have a better chance in there. He took her hand, picking her up, then started running towards Siren's Call.

*Three Days Later*
The king had issued an offer. Those who were brave enough, or foolish enough, to enter the old city and rescue his daughter, would be greatly rewarded.
If they accept this mission, then the adventurers were to meet at the small town that the guard's outpost was built around. Once there, they would be given information to help survive the town.
That is where the adventure will start. Inside the inn of this town, called Outpost. Are you ready to face tough decisions, horrible creatures, and each other?

Well, now that the story bit is out of the way, here is the juicy part you are waiting for. The character creation! Should you have any questions about anything, feel free to ask me.
Now, for the character sheet:
Name:
Age:
Race:
Weapon:
Magic: (Pick two schools of magic to specialize in.)
Personality Traits: (Pick your strongest and weakess trait, the rest you'll just normal in.)
Appearance: (for this, I would prefer that you use the image of a real person, and then describe little features that they have, like skin tone, tattoos, etc.)
As you can see, I did not put a place for your bio. You will reveal that, and some other things to me, when you submit your character, via PM, to me. That is also where we will discuss your secret goal, and where I will discuss who the traitor is.
