Basil thought for a moment, then said with a twinge of guilt in his tone, "Um, so I may or may not have left him at the clinic..." He held up his hands in a "what can you do" sort of gesture. "Whoops?" he asked as his shook his head. "Basil, how can you just [i]forget[/i] that another human being is with you?" Leith asked. "I vaguely remember telling him to meet back up with us, and he never did, so I'm assuming that he just decided to ditch us on his own accord," Basil responded, leaning back in his seat as he folded his arms over his chest.
