Well, we were there specifically to kill them, so nobody had a reason to take them alive.

Lilianna wouldn't be quite so quick to rise, she'll show up later. <.<

Also, as an infodump for the new guy: Tyaethe has only once been seen out of armour in nearly two hundred years (and he might've been doing something else during that party. Up to you if he was at the ball?), and it's known within the Iron Roses but not outside that she's, y'know, undead. xD

Heavily armored, undead, and wielding massive weapons with inhuman strength? Sounds like a Dark Souls boss. Jolly Cooperation is clearly the only course of action for Fleuri and Klaus.

@Rockin Strings: Ah, sorry, I missed your edit. I'll take a look either tonight or tomorrow.

For everyone else, this RP will pick up as soon as this battle is finished and we're back to our regularly scheduled programming. ^^;

I'm sorry but you still haven't given me an answer. Do I need to repost the CS?

Name: Maxwell Kilimal
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Race: Half-Elf
Appearance: At a head shorter than the average man, Max is a little on the short side. His long, brown hair hangs loose, hiding his slightly-pointed ears. He's a thin man, better as a scout than a warrior, and has very long arms and legs for his height, making it easier to sneak and escape. He wears soft, cotton clothes under thick, rough leather armor. Over everything, he wears a thin, brown and dark green cloak, which allows him to blend in easier with the forest.
Personality: Max, being young for a Half-Elf, is rather fun-loving and gentle, making him loved by most, especially kids. He is loyal to a fault after said loyalty is earned. He is very honorable and dependable, both attributes making him great for any army. Overall, he's an easy guy to get along with, as long as you don't make him mad. Once angered, it's hard to calm Max down, unless you have someone he's mad at to apologize. He's a great ally and a terrifying enemy in battle. It mostly just depends on how people treat him.
Brief Backstory: Born as the illegitimate son of a baron, Max began his journey with a handsome amount of gold. When he received the rather large sum of money, the letter with it explained that, while he could take the Baron's title upon his death, the money was a bribe to let one of his older siblings have it. However, being bad with money, he spent most of it on supplies before beginning his travels, many of which he thought he needed, including new weapons of great craftsmanship. Having trained with his family for 15 years with swordplay of various forms (including dual wield) as well as archery, and stealth, more on his own than with any of the rangers, he believed he was ready for the world.
During his travels, he collected more gold, a few new weapons, and new armor, as well as a horse, which died while Max was exploring some ruins 3 years into his travels. He never did find out who killed his horse.
It only took 5 years before he met a knight. He traveled with the knight for 3 days before they were attacked. Bandits. The pair held off their attackers for as long as they needed before the bandits fled. That night, the knight commended the half-elf's skill in combat and offered him a place in his ranks. He would have to work his way up. Max accepted and, come the next morning, the pair traveled towards the castle, reaching it the next night.
Equipment: Enchanted Shortsword (never dull, left hip), Eastern Longsword (katana, right hip), 5 steel daggers (bandoleer across chest), Silver Dagger (left wrist sheath), Composite Longbow, Arrows (Sheaf and Flight). (Other assorted necessities.)
Skills: Swordplay (Adept at single sword style), Dual Swordplay (Adept and two sword style), Archery (Adept, hits his target more than half of the time), Bowyer/Fletcher (Can craft his own bows and arrows), Hunter/Tracker (Adept at finding small game for food), Stealth (Can hide in the shadows and move silently without being caught most of the time), Natural Ambidexterity (Able to use both hands equally as good at everything).

Your equipment list is formatted as if everyone is going to understand what you mean. "Enchanted"? In what way? Tyaethe's equipment is enchanted but the enchantments have no resemblance to Indrau's sword. What the hell is an "eastern longsword"? You're also presumably confusing daggers with something much shorter, because having a foot of sharp steel just hanging on your chest ten times over is probably a recipe for disaster. Why on Earth does he have a magical staff and what does that do? None of this is explained, nor the vagueness of a "silver dagger". Is that significant? If it's normal silver, that's not very sharp.

Then there's the fact it's still formatted like a character sheet for some tabletop. It's all just keywords and percentages, and that percentage stuff isn't going to be useful as nobody's making dice rolls here. Plus the equipment list numbering specific arrows and vague necessities doesn't gel with being part of a knightly order that, in general, is going to be fully and competently supplied.

Regarding the silver dagger, it's not uncommon in RPG settings for certain supernatural creatures like werewolves and vampires to be vulnerable- or at least not resistant- to silver. As you said, silver is too soft to make a decent blade by itself, so such "silver" weapons are typically silver-plated iron or steel weapons.

It's an alchemical process in D&D and is also useful against some evil Outsiders, too.

My point is that none of this is specified. You can't accept a bio based on guessing intent.

At the behest of the GM, I have returned! Well, not as if that desires much fanfare at all. But just saying. I've been half-paying attention to what's gone on in the few months I've been MIA since it was kinda hard for me to jump in for... The entirety of the last arc. Blah.

Anyways, post soon, I guess.

He does too much and his skills and weapons are still under-explained and listed like tabletop skills.

@VitaVitaAR How does he do too much? He has 2 different sword styles because, while he prefers his 2-sword style, if he loses one of his swords, he needs to be proficient with 1-sword style to keep him from being completely defenseless. He uses his bow to hunt for his own food as swords aren't that good for rabbits. He can craft his own bows and arrows in case he runs out or his bow breaks. Everything else is to help him while he's on a hunt. How do they need more explanation when all of them are basically self-explanatory?

Aww, she was going to be nice and offer to not use a live sword. Well, Klaus is brave. :P
