<Snipped quote by BCTheEntity>

It stems from the fact that Golden Eyes hold domain over forces of Destruction, whereas Silver Eyes have a more broad use in Creation. Golden eyes can make an explosion, but Silver eyes could make the gun. Additionally and more readily useful is that Silver eyes can be used to heal wounds as they are made for near instantaneous regeneration.

It's the diversity of use in creating tools, structures, weapons, and in healing yourself that make it superior to the pure destructive power of Golden Eyes.

But what if you could destroy concepts?

Eh, not incredibly, but I understand that it could lead to the most BORK character in existence, so I'll stop defending it.

Maybe individual feelings? What if you could destroy somebody's ability to feel pain?

@TheWindel Not to act as the Devil's advocate, but it seems reasonably legitimate to me, if only in the sense of destroying a person's ability to comprehend a given concept rather than the concept itself. Since we're on the topic anyway, though, and since floodtalon's asked already about possible creative uses of Silver Eyes, why don't we make it a twofer and ask about the potential uses of both types of Eyes, as well as their respective Wholes?

Imagine destroying the feeling of horniness to someone like Fran.

Imagine how diluted that'd make her character.

Silver Eyes: Shaped antimatter charge on demand.

Gold Eyes: Destruction of all bonds within a certain area at the sub-atomic level.

Both types of eyes are so completely broken I'm surprised they are in the game in the first place.

That's why they're earned, not given.

Must have been a minuscule one to not kill the entire battlefield through gravitational and temporal sheering.

In light of browsing the CS section, who has the gold eyes at the moment?

Yeah it was kinda small. That and Henry doesn't really know how black holes work, so he just created his version of a black hole. Which isn't nearly as powerful as a real black hole.

@floodtalon

I can give you some examples based on Eos and how she works to avoid burn out from overusing her Silver Eyes. Henry would likely not benefit from these users but that's valid as example. Just let me get back home and I'll se about it.

@Banana

Krieg still has his Golden Eyes, once again, he just don't know very well how to use it.

@Silvan Haven@BCTheEntity

The most radical it's for the Eyes generally come at great cost to the user. Up to and including losing them if they get too burnt. Maybe even things that are worse than death. That's why Henry got bit in the ass more than once up to now.

What would cause one Silver Eyes use to be more 'costly' than another. Is it mass? Volume? Complexity? Are certain materials simply more 'costly' than others? How exactly would one measure how difficult it is to create one thing, compared to another?

Edit:
Extra question: are the Silver Eyes limited to matter, or can they also create energy? Like, could you use your silver eyes to create an electromagnetic field? Or a gravity well?

Adding onto this, could they create magic?

@thewizardguy

Mass, Volume, and Complexity. How to measure difficulty? If you make something and pass out from the strain, I imagine that's above your limit. Silver Eyes can, in theory, create anything out of nothing; but by that point, if your character is going around doing that they will most certainly suffer the heavy drawbacks.
