Sort of. The weapons cybernetically enhance the wielder's physical capibilities. So they would be super strong, fast, and all that entails.

Buuut: While the characters are mastering their weapons, they'll discover more...unique ways to harness the weapons' power. I very much plan to introduce more eccentric capabilities as the Roleplay progresses.
