That's no problem, just keep in mind it uses blood with each attack and prolong usage. Also, repeated uses over time will slowly melt the weapon unless it's created to tolerate/channel it correctly which is where rune aid in that matter. Currently at the novice level, at least with some Bloods, it's just a boost to your attack and novices can't continually use it.
