So should we start with them leaving the Sohma estate? I think Mai should come with them as a secondary character, maybe you could bring a secondary too? It might make it more interesting to have more people in the new house.

...should I change Aiko's last name to Sohma? Remember, I already warned you that I'm rusty with the technicalities of Fruits Basket, so pardon the perhaps obvious question. Yeah, we can start from there. Do you mind writing the first post? Just for the sake of me being prone to messing it up.

"Mhm!" Mai said and smiled up at him, her face lighting up as she smiled. Kai had always considered his younger sister to be the ray of sunshine in his life. She always made him feel better when she was around, because she was such a positive person. Kai wasn't the most positive person, he over analyzed things too much. Kai envied his sister, for the way she could just go through life so happy about well, being alive. Mai seemed to take joy in almost every single moment, and Kai envied that. Kai was quiet, awkward, and bad at expressing himself except for in his writing or when he played piano. Those were the only times all his walls came down.

He wished he could be more like Mai.


Aw, both Kai and Aiko have other people who they're jealous (that's not the most accurate word here, but whatever) of. :')
