Ashe scowled at Lacy's answer, Dessie sat there, her plump, glossy lips squeezed together as she blushed. Lukas looked around. "hey, where's Brand?" He asked. Samuel looked up, tilting his head. "He is not present." He answered, not understanding what Lukas was getting at. 

"No, hun, that's not what he means." Dessie said to the alien, giggling. Samuel blushed, his pointer finger touching his bottom lip. "Oh, the 'oopsie' of flowers." He quoted, going back to his ice cream. Ashe snorted at this kid's attempt. 

As if on cue, both Rick and Brand entered the kitchen. "I have a mission for you." He said to the room. "'cept speedy gonzalos, you're staying here and watching." Lukas sighed with relief, Brand walked over to where his best friends where, not saying anything. 

"Chiron, Viper, and Iridescent Girl, I want you three to take Brand and Z out to patrol Dallas. There's some weird activity down there and I want you to check things out." Rick explained, crossing his arms. "Show the noobs the ropes, it shouldn't be anything too exciting."
