MENTAL DESCRITPION:
Gaius Withersteel is a bonafide megalomaniac. He thinks of himself as a god in the flesh and uses every chance he can to prove that he is exactly that. He has a casual disregard for life and feelings that makes him a very shred and ruthless commander. He appreciates the effectiveness of both his subordinates (which is everyone) and his foes (which might also be everyone) but only so far as they serve as a backdrop for him to showcase his superiority. After all, there is no glory in defeating a weak foe. His rules are law and his word is his bond. However, all things must serve himself and if his word needs to be broken because it is more convenient for him, he will. Of course, this is the very definition of hypocrisy as he expects any and all people to give him unwavering honesty and loyalty. He is cunning and excellent at deception (including self deception) which easily allowed him to pass any examination that might have threatened to disqualify him from this perfect chance to assert his will over a tiny population of subjects.

ARMY REGISTRATION

NAME: The Withersteel Empire
THEME: A Steampunk British Imperial Naval force with a healthy dose of religious fervor and xenophobia.

The standard fighting man of The Withersteel Empire. Relentlessly drilled, trained for marksmanship and close combat. The private Marine is a rifleman with with aerial assault training. They are trained in the use of rifle, bayonet, and roping down from the landing craft. The Non-commissioned officers of the marines also carry a saber to set them apart form the rank and file and are trained in it's use. The officers of the marines are educated on tactics, command, as well as far more focused fencing training and carry and revolver and a saber. There are also specialist marines that perform tasks like medical, mechanical, heavy weapons, and artillery.

Selected from the largest and strongest of the marine stock the grenadiers do double duty as the regiments tasked with carrying handheld explosives and grenade launchers, as well as, being the leaders when storming the enemy in hand to hand combat. The rank and file grenadier is taller and stronger than a normal marine and given a long rifle with a long bayonet and fighting knife on top of their stock of grenades. The Non-commissioned officers of the regiment also carry heavy slashing sabers and grenade launchers instead of a rifle at all. The officers of the grenadiers are very similar to their counterparts in the standard marine regiments, but, as always, taller and stronger. Some are from less civilized parts of the Empire and choose to carry more traditional hand weapons like axes, polearms, and two handed swords.

The pilots of The Empire. They perform many tasks from the manning of airships as well as the piloting of the fighters and bombers. The most well known and glorious of these men are the ace pilots with high kill counts and impressive numbers of sorties. The tasks of this corp can range from piloting to simple maintenance or management of the air ships of The Empire. The vast majority of the airmen are not fully combat trained and instead use the ships and planes as their primary weapon. All airman of the corp carry a revolver for self defense.
