The vanguard fleet will be flying ahead to Armstrong to recon the area and scan any potential threats before Sword Fleet's arrival.

Hard to believe the game has been going on for a month, but here we are. I have to say I'm quite happy with the progress we've made so far, and how the game is turning out. After four weeks we haven't even concluded the prelude, though we're close! This is probably the fourth or fifth game I've made in this Star Reach universe, all of which were done on another forum, and seemed to be doomed to failure - I can say with confidence however this game is sticking thanks to you guys!

I sincerely hope you're all having as much fun playing as I am running it, and I really appreciate all of you taking part.

@SantosGabriel77 @Ciaran I'm just waiting for you guys to confirm through IC you're taking part in the vanguard fleet to Armstrong (though Dark Light and Rush can take part too so long as your frigates are available).

Okay guys, I'm back!

So here's a quick recap...

Following the Twin Suns HQ bombing in Anita City on Thadus, the Senate approved a military operation to root out and capture or eliminate terrorists operating in Alpha Centauri. The operation is being led by Director Baines of IMPSEC and relies on Federation support. IMPSEC and Federation forces have seized control of a large mining operation and orbital space station on Ashby, and are preparing to move on to Armstrong. A vanguard fleet, consisting of Nightwolf and Nought, have burned ahead to reconnoiter Armstrong ahead of the main IMPSEC fleet. Meanwhile, Federation forces are mopping up the last of the resistance on Ashby, restoring order in the wake of IMPSEC raids.

The actions of Baines suggests IMPSEC may have ulterior motives in this operation. The assets of the Ashby Mining Collective, a public mining corporation has been seized by the law enforcement arm of the empire and the leader of Ashby, Chairman Walsh, has been arrested for obstruction of justice along with the leaders of AMC.

I'll have SITREPS for you guys asap.

You forgot to mention the utter massacre of the terrorists and rioters that came after the bombing.
