Honestly, this universe is a cheap ripoff of actual magic the gathering, so if someone really feels like a spirit planeswalker I won't be stressing over it.

As for the creature spells, creatures will mostly be the things you encounter in the wilds, unless you have some sort of familiar. Alternatively you could hire some people to form a small army, but other than that creatures will be more scarcely played than in normal magic.
