Appearance: Solae is tall and thin, with dull gray-green skin, piercing red eyes, and fourteen small diamond-shaped facial tattoos running in two parallel lines of seven, one over each eye. Like many of the other Inquisitors, Solae abandoned her traditional Jedi robes once she joined the Empire, preferring now to dress in a black bodysuit reinforced with plastoid armor plates. She also wears a long black skirt with a geometric, gray skirt panel and a gray headscarf over her straight black hair. Always at her hip is her Inquisitorial double-bladed ring lightsaber. 

Personality: Like many of the Mirialian, Solae is relatively softspoken, but with a forceful presence that, before her turn to the dark side, had been comforting in its steady stocicism, but now seems to be oppressive and judgmental. Though before Order 66 she had been willing to face problems calmly and use violence only as a last resort, now she is more apt to draw her lightsaber and kill if it means being done with it. Though they were all selected by Lord Vader to be trained as Inquisitors because of their aptitude to serve the empire, even among her Brothers and Sisters, Solae is considered the cold one, with a streak of cruelty that Vader once deemed "most impressive."

Backstory: Solae's only memories of her childhood in Mirial were miserable ones. Though she was young when she was discovered and brought to Coruscant, for the longest time, the only feeling that accompanied thinking about her homeworld were the memories of cold nights spent on a dirt floor, and constant, gnawing hunger. She had been happy to leave that place. 

At the age of 15, she became the padawan of Qiru Kadav, another Mirialian Jedi, but one who was intimately involved in the delicate situation of her home planet. Much of Solae's early training consisted solely of dealing diplomatically with Trade Federation businessmen that kept Mirial in a death grip, who cared less for the lives of the people of Mirial than their bottom line. It was during this period that she relearned to love Mirial and its suffering people.

She was knighted just before the Clone Wars broke out, and immediately put in a request to take a padawan of her own. They fought side-by-side along with their assigned Clone squadron, Sentinel Squadron, for the entire conflict. When Order 66 broke out, Solae was captured and for two years underwent retraining by Darth Vader himself, along with a few other captured Jedi. The retraining was less training and more torture, a teaching used only to cultivate hate in its students--hate for their master, hate for their past lives, hate for the Jedi. The one thing that remains of Solae's love is her love for Mirial. Though under the Empire it is only marginally better than it was under the Trade Federation, Solae accepts the improvement.
