Absolutely, it wont be too lore heavy, basically there was a string of world wars after the 50s that basically destroyed most civilisations across the world. Countries still existed, but people moved to where was most inhabitable. And the Island of Izaoyi (where the RP is set) is a small island off the japanese mainland. The academy your characters went to was an american military school but it was bombed and only the 5 in this RP were the survivors.
