The only alteration to this constant expression is the occasional pout; very rarely does she seem serious in any form of the word. Her speech patterns are quite strange too. She often speaks with an underlying tone of amusement and usually ends or starts her sentences with a light chuckle. In this vein, it isn't surprising that she often participates in many frivolous activities based off of whatever she thinks is 'fun' at the time. Her high intellect level and pragmatism when concerning getting what she wants make for quite a mixture. While Akane does want to become stronger, despite being the strongest in Academy City, she does so in a lackadaisical manner. 'Why should she work hard to become even stronger when she's the strongest? It'll come eventually,' is her line of thought on the manner, meaning she probably wouldn't get involved with an experiment to boost her strength if it involved lots of hard work, even if the opportunity arose. However, this laziness only applies to things with the main goal of affecting herself, so she's not going to be ignoring babies in the middle of traffic because saving them would be hard work. Incidentally, while her personality would make one think otherwise, Akane does have the capacity to be 'super serious'. This is usually indicated by something causing her perpetual smile to drop into something resembling a flat expression, but as we all know that doesn't happen all that often. Lastly, unlike the rest of the people considered to be on her level of power, Akane doesn't hold any rivalries with any of them because, in her words, "that wouldn't be a very fun thing to do, being focused on beating someone all the time." Of course, this doesn't mean that the others don't consider her a rival. [B]Ability:[/B] [u]AEK-Class-V-Type-Black: "Scalar Change"[/u] Scalar Change describes the ability exclusively used by Uno Mundus' strongest ESPer to manipulate zeroth ranked tensors, also known as scalars. A scalar is a quantity which is completely specified by its magnitude, unlike first ranked tensors/vectors which describe quantities with magnitude and direction. Naturally, a power like that is absolutely ridiculous in terms of flexibility, reaching from altering one's speed to providing a form of psuedo-teleportation to hijacking radio frequencies and even to flight of all things. Fortunately, the user isn't able to affect abstract concepts that affect all of causality, such as time and probability, at her current level of power. In fact, it's theorized that, should the user figure out how to do so, she would become an entity close to that of God. Thankfully, the amount of mental processing power triggering (not to mention controlling) a feat like that would be absolutely inhuman, and the repercussions disastrous should the user allow the metaphysical calculations to spin out of control. Perhaps luckily for the rest of existence, the current capacity of Scalar Change is that of tangible factors. Distance, length, weight, height, speed, mass, electric potential, charge, temperature, etc... If it can be experienced in the physical realm and described as a scalar, it can be controlled. However, very rarely will the strongest delve into the truly offensive capabilities of her power, so you won't be seeing absurdly powerful punches or a projectile shot past the speed of sound every other minute. Rather, the user tends to use it for more mundane utilities, like heating her food instantly, 'teleporting' to where she wants to go, shortening her absurdly long hair, or cheating at sports. However, the changes made by the ability aren't permanent. For example, if the user were to revert a rock's speed to 0, what's stopping the rock manipulator from regaining that speed? Lastly, the greatest enemy to this power isn't people or surprise attacks, but rather the environment. While the user could run at absurdly fast, supersonic speeds, air friction will tear her apart. If you think she can remedy this by removing the air in her way, say hello to a lack of oxygen and a vacuum. In the same vein, while she could punch you with several exatons of force, she'd probably destroy her own body in the process. Of course, exceptions are made for abilities that aren't very versatile, such as Teleportation or Super Strength. In that case, it's a ranking that tells you how much raw power the ability has. Naturally, it's getting from !>II or II>III can't even be compared to getting from III>IV. Example: Telekinesis that can lift up cars and crush them, or coat a lock to figure out which numbers work by feeling for vibrations. Teleportation that can transport tonnes with a low margin of inaccuracy.[/*][*][b]Class-III - "Powers Useful for Daily Life."[/b] Power that can be consistently used, basically. Most populous classification, and fairly easy to get to from II. Example: Having Telekinesis that can set your table or move your friend's couch into his apartment. Teleporting hundreds of pounds with good accuracy.
