Through the blasted hole, among the feet of the hunters and terrified guests, something else also swarmed into the mansion. Grey and brown furry blobs covered the floor, individuals breaking off from the tied and making their way up the legs of the guests. The pushed their way into pockets, nipped at cuff-links and pulled on jewelry. Anything valuable they found, removed, and ran back to the entrance where a man stood next to the hunter captain. The captain looked on distastefully as rats carrying valuables scaled his companions legs and disappearing into the living mass spread across his shoulders and down his back. The rat man caught his eye and smiled. "Don't look like dat." He said. "We jus' gnawed our way into a center realm. Do ya have any idea how hard dat is without a dedicated specialist? Our deal was ya let me do my thing once we got in here. Don't start judgin' now." He stepped into the room as the rats moved at their own discretion. Two large lumps of fur sloughed off his shoulders, somehow not diminishing the amount to writhing grey, and unfurled into two horrid horking rat creatures the size of dogs. They patrolled loyally at his side as he strolled forward, taking in the decor. He never got invited to fancy shindigs like this. He sniffed the air, searching for any highly concentrated magical scene. Spaces like this one usually had some sort of core that maintained them, and that core was probably the most valuable thing here both magically and financially speaking. He didn't get far though. At least a couple of people seemed a whole lot braver than the rest. He stopped in front of them. "Ya wanna check our invitation?" He asked. "Cause we ain't got one."
