Alright, so I know this has been brought up before but I'm still kinda confused about Chico; how much of it is actually bordered off from the outside and converted into a safezone?
You can expect that every haven on the West Coast is walled. I'd say every haven period, but I'm sure others that crop up will disprove that statement. Anyway, Evergreen had walls of rusted out shit cars, salvaged fences, a few watchtowers, and in general just things too frustrating and too dangerous to climb easily. I might be overstating the old defences, but with the 1007th there now maybe not a big deal. Knowing that they're an impressive example, we could probably expect Chico is less monumental in the layers of walls aspect and probably takes on a more city friendly approach. Chico is this mix of city and suburbia that's pretty packed in with the latter. Imagine houses reduced to a thick wall of brick and wood. Cars stacked in the streets of neighbourhoods thick and high street after street forming a solid mass blocking entry. Perhaps some houses are converted into two or three story watchtowers with gates crafted here and there for entry into the haven. It's a segment of Chico, now reduced from its original size, with as much within the walls maintained as possible, and some areas modified for survival. I imagine some areas may be better crafted and clean, while others might just be heaps of jagged metal that just so happen to point outward to skewer deaders too dumb to turn around. I hope that helps. The haven is pretty big compared in terms of spread compared to Evergreen. You're free to imagine up an area as you please, just follow my rule of thumb and never speak for the entirety. If you describe a bit as hard 'check out this glorious image in my mind' you'll invite others to do the same, and so on, and so forth. @Fallen: Looking forward to it!
