Your character reminds me of an old RP I used to partake in with a close friend of mine. It was based on a comic with wolves/dogs but I don't exactly remember what the name of it was. Alas, the cats had a trading system, established small "villages" with huts, and even had weapons and traps.

Anywhore, since what we're doing here is Warrior Cats, I don't think traps are possible. :hmm
Unless you can somehow figure out how an everyday cat would set a trap (other than laying out freshkill in the middle of the forest to be eaten, but that kind of trap would be more "malicious" as a cat would most likely be trying to apprehend another in that situation), I don't think it's possible. :confused
