As she sat waiting for the homeroom to begin, Kanako utilized her free time by reading the pocket book she had brought with her. This was how she usually spent her free time. Unfortunately, her reading was soon disturbed by the loud squeaking sound coming from the seat near her. At first, she just ignored it but as it continued, she closed her book with annoyed expression on her face and looked beside her to see who was the culprit.

[i]Oh, it's him, the awkward kid. Ethan, if I remember correctly. I don't remember him sitting there.[/i] He never really stood out much other than for being awkward so Kanako never really paid much attention to him.

Thankfully, he soon settled down and the squeaking stopped. She didn't have to waste her breath then. And thus, she returned to her book, still waiting for homeroom to start.

Homeroom was over. Miss Catherine's lesson was delightful as usual, Kanako thought. However, there wasn't any time to dwell on her words as gym class was about to start. She had to change to her gym outfit first after all.

She arrived in the Track and Field area wearing a white sports t-shirt and a pair of tight black spats. This outfit was actually the usual outfit she wore when cycling. Since the Academy didn't really have uniforms like ordinary schools did, she decided to just wear them as her gym outfit.

She arrived right after Diana, though unlike her, she sat down on a grassy hill right away. It was a shame she couldn't bring her book or else she would have read it here as well.
