Of course their interactions were playful and fun as they ventured on their way towards the bus stop and once on the bus he sat next to her. “Excuse me for not being fashionable.” He said sounding playfully offended. “I’ll have you know that if I could, I’d be wearing a cloak or chain male into the hospital and tell people I’m ready to battle brain cancer but… ya know, not the best impression on your first day. If you don’t like me in my leather jacket then buy me a new one with all that doctor money you’re going to be making.” Pushing her with his elbow he found that not only was she shaking with excitement but he was as well. Climbing off the bus not two blocks away from the giant hospital he was about to start in the direction before she turned on her heel and marched in the wrong direction. Alex’s reaction however, was priceless as he let her get a few feet away from him before he took advantage of his long legs and caught up with her and snagged the hood of her jacket pulling her to a complete and rather abrupt stop. “This way?” He repeated as she turned around to find a blonde with a raised eyebrow. As she turned he dropped her hood and used that hand to point in the direction of the giant hospital. “But I want to work there.” He then grabbed her hand and pulled her along. “This is why I lead you dork.” Inside the hospital he pulled her to the front desk and shot a beaming smile at the front desk person who looked at him in pure shock. The blonde haired boy was well known throughout the hospital already and everyone expected him to finish school and instantly work under his father to learn how to run the hospital but the email went out to everyone that he was working as an apprentice to the brain surgeon, a human would be interning as well (boy, that training was more like a PSA for ‘don’t use magic in front of her even though she’s on staff or you’ll be fired’) and… “Oh don’t worry, I’m a semiprofessional cosplayer.” Alex said pointing towards his ears. “I got approval to have these.” He wasn’t masking his ears. They were each handed a thick file full of papers they were required to fill out before being left in a back room to fill it out. Opening the folder his eyes expanded wildly, “Holy crap do they want a blood sample and a piece of my first born’s hair. Jesus…”
