I'm Melissa, and I just joined. You can call me Melissa or Mel, I have no preference

I used to do some role-playing a while back (+5 years or so) and I'm really itching to get back into it. Writing is a huge passion of mine that I don't get to really indulge in (I'm a student studying Business, which is really the opposite of a writer), so I'm hoping that this will help get my creative juices flowing again.

I would love to jump right in and get started, so I would really appreciate if some people could let me know the best way to do so!

Free RP: Basic one liners or so. Think chat-based RP, like instant messanger.
Casual RP: Paragraph or a few (2-3). Average depth, perfect blend between free and advanced that a lot of people like here.
Advanced RP: Paragraphs usually depend. Some people have a ton of paragraphs, some don't. However, these RP have a lot of depth and background to them.
Arena RP: 1x1 (or more) combat fights between RPers.
1x1 RP: Like it says. One RPer with another.
Nation RP: Control a nation, do diplomatic stuff or fight battles.
Tabletop RP: Think dungeons and dragons and you'll understand what tabletop is.
