[@KoL]you can achieve fusion of deuterium with relatively little power with a [url=https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fusor]fusor[/url].  Neutrons taking away most of the energy in the form of heat is the main problem.

That's why I think it is just more advanced tech, not that it requires different laws of physics.

About the RP though, you can just follow him, or run into him later.  Not sure if you have a tracking spell to find him or not.
