Guyton should of seen it coming, this not being the first time Eri refused to dismount him. He still had the sneer on his face but he let out a sigh this time when he grabbed the girl's collar again. "No I would cut your throat." He said before making sure he placed her on the deck. "Mainly because I'm sure the ship would sink because of the overload of rum that built up from you not drinking it." He said with his almost non existent smirk.

"see? im useful!" she said cheerfuly and huged his leg, for Eri Guyton was like a father or a big brother she could rely on, "want to drink rum?" she asked with puppy eyes knwing no man could resist her childish charms, that moment her stomach made a loud noise, she was hungry

Guy slowly walked out from were he sat, looking at the book the young girl had handed her, not paying attention to all that came his way, if it weren't for the fact he knew the ship by heart, he would have knocked himself out from not watching. As he walked he notice the girls voice, it made him perk up a bit. As he looked up from his book Guy noticed a large man standing next to her, while most would look intimidated, guy had no fears of men, it was the cats that got him. Guy and the man had gotten into a heated argument over cooking, thought he had forgotten most of what they said, he still made mental notes of how he could increase the foods flavor, often involving rock salt.

As guy walked over to hand the book to the girl back, he stopped a sent past his nose. It smelled like chicken. As he looked towards the kitchen his feet began to walk towards it on there own, only stopping to give the book back to the girl before skipping to the food.

Guyton looked down at Eri and let out a sigh when he realized he wasn't going to get her off of him. "I can't. Knowing these bumbaclots one of them is going to stab out a damn eye before dina and I can't be lost in the drink when that happens." He said while he began walking back towards his makeshift kitchen. He felt the rumbling from the girl's stomach against his leg. "Da stew should be done by now." He said while looking forward. He was almost to the kitchen when noticed the small figure approaching him. It was the man who dared question his cooking, Guy he thought his name was. His already stony expression seemed to harden when Guy kept approaching. Guyton said nothing to the man and let him hand Eri a book before heading off. Guyton then continued to the kitchen, with Eri still hugging his leg.

Eri took the book completly forgetting about her katana, she conitued hugging Guyton's leg until they reached the kitchen and felt the smell of the stew "stew!?" she screamed "i dont want to!" she said in an attempt to make Guyton agry. she didnt have problems eating stew, however it was fun for her to make her "father" angry

Guy sat at a table, hunched over, a jagged knife and a mangled fork in his hands. He was ready to eat, as he rarely felt like doing so.

"so what is it today," he said as he dropped the salt onto the table.

When Eri said she didn't want stew Guyton nodded to a bucket full of days old chicken guts, potato skins, fish scales and god knows what else. "Ya know the rule. Don't like ma cooking ya get the scrapes." He said with a slight smirk before making his way over to the still bubbling pot. He grabbed two old bowls from near by and filled them up with stew he made his way to the table. He placed both bowls down, on have a chicken neck floating in it and the other having a leg and a breast. "Old Jamaican recipe, it has enough fire in it to put some real hair on your chest." He said before getting Eri off his leg and heading back to the pot.

Eri's eyes widened when she saw that horrible thing Guyton dared to call "food", she swallowed hard and ran out to the deck screaming in fear "NOW I RALLY DONT WANT TO!". When she reached the deck she got an idea, she saw a finshing next hours ago, when she found it she threw it to the tea tied with a long rope and waited patiently, like a tigerwaiting for her pray, well, in this case she was more like a little cat "i got one!" she shouted and pulled the next, indeed it was a big fish, she didnt know what type though but no matter, she was too hungry, "you are all mine,,," she said almost drooling and took her katana to kill the fish

Guy took the bowl from were eri once sat,and downed as though it were a drink and let out a deep breathe as he placed the empty bowl down. Though he wasn't a fan of the chefs food, but he knew that saying something was against his better judgement, the man had a tricky kick, and it was almost impossible to get past. Still a friendly joke couldn't hurt.

"well your certainly improving, though that's not saying much"

Guyton simply shook his head when Eri ran off, honestly he was surprised she hadn't did soon her. Guyton was stirring the pot when he heard Guy's break in. The chef really did try to let the comment go, but there were only a few select things that could irritate him and someone insulting his cooking just so happened to be one of them. Guyton pulled the cleaver that he had wedged into the wall earlier out with ease before turning to Guy. "Okay boy lets get something straight. You, me and the rest of those salt water drinking bastards out there are pirates, we don't live the life of ease we take from those who do. So if this food is not to yer liking you can simply not eat it." He then pointed the cleaver at the scrape bucket from before. "And like I already said you don't want to eat my cooking you can have at what ever is in there." He then slamed the cleaver back into the wall before heading back up on deck.

By the time Guyton reached the deck Eri had already sliced the fish and put the big pieces of meat on an old small grill, under the grill there where hot ashes on top of a metal plate, from time to time Eri poured some rum on the meat giving it a special taste, next to her there was a caouldron with wood burning insie, she used a shovel to collect the ashes and put them under the grill " ah, good thing wehad that useless pieces of wood" she said while wiping off the sweat from her face, part of the crew was watching, they were waiting for something edible

As guyton pointed to the bucket, guy looked inside and pulled out the potato skins and munched them. in the inside he secretly thought that his food was great, but he loved teasing the big man, thought the clever brought him to the realize he was on the mans nerves. He eased his hands up.

"easy big guy, I didn't mean anything by it, you a good cook, really" he said as he noticed that eri had caught a fish, it shined and squirmed, but it looked like a bowl of ice cream to him, the girl had talent.

Guyton was more than a bit irritated from his little chat with Guy, his cooking was one of his passions and for that boy to insult it did nothing to improve Guyton's naturally sour mood. When he saw Eri cooking a fish she caught he thought nothing of it, but when he spotted the other crew members eyeing it was when the large man snapped. "Alright you Bloodclots get you asses into the galley and eat the damn stew I made! Or next time we dock and you feel like shagging whatever whore that will let you into her birches I'll let you figure out how to get rid of the itch!" He called out the crew who quickly fled into the galley and began serving themselves. "Damn idoits.." Guyton said under his breath before leaning against the rail of the ship.

Eri didmt even looked at Guyton, not even a world about his scold to the crew, she loved cooking as much as Guyton, maybe even more, when the fish was ready the used her katana as skewer and walked to him offering her "special grlled fish", she sat on the rail and started eating as she moved her legs like a child

Guyton let out a slight sigh and waved away the fish. "Like I said can't have any rum. I let one of those bastards die the captain will have my ass." He said before digging into his make shift satchel. "Oh yeah almost forgot." He then pulled out a small cloth doll that resembled Eri. He handed it to her with out looking down to her.

Guy slipped out of the kitchen when the others came in, He shouldn't have talked to the man like that, he should give him some time to cool down. As he walked out he tossed eri some salt.

Eri took the cloth doll, at first she didnt recognize what if was, she hand never had one so she was a little confused, when she noticed what it was she showed a huge smile and huged his arm "thanks daddy!" she said cheerfly "how should i call her?" she asked witha childish voice. Eri was really happy, it was the first present she got from Guytonso she had to make sure not to lose the doll, she decided to attach it to her belt
