Miranda Burke

Location: Café Interacting with:

Miranda had been looking around to see if there was anybody needing or ready to take any orders, In the meantime she was just making sure tables were clean for if and when they may be needed by customers. She had certainly quietened down since her outburst and standing up to her boss, it was a ballsy and silly move but one she felt good about afterwards as it felt something needed to be said with his attitude.

The blonde girl didn’t really think anything of it at first until she noticed the FBI agent suddenly packing up her things and suddenly leave in a bit of a rush, it made Miranda’s heart ache a bit as she wondered if finally, there was a lead on Riley or not but the urgent way she left didn’t help make her worry. Going over to the table the agent was at to clean it up and make it ready for anyone else to use, the woman failed to drink her coffee but did leave a generous tip for her which made her smile a little, she felt she didn’t have to do that.

While Miri was cleaning the table the agent was formerly at another young girl around her age had come over to her, she was a sweet young lass and was easy to get on and work with. Miranda couldn’t help but smile back at her when the girl spoke to her. “Thanks, I just… felt like somebody had to say something to him, just glad he didn’t kick my ass for it.” The girl simply gave Miri a friendly smile and left to her own tables.

Going back to her own tables, Miranda finished up cleaning the table and making it ready for anyone else that may choose to sit there. she also took her tip generously left by the agent before taking the time to see if there was anything she missed and to check to see if there were any other customers that were awaiting to be served or wanting to make an order, she just wished she could be out there with her friends wondering what they were up to or if they were looking for Riley.

Jenna Westbrook

Location: Silver Mine

Had Jenna's birth father been present, the resemblance between the two would have been uncanny. Yet the chances that he would show up in Red Lake were slim to none. Scott Jones simply wasn't his real name, despite that being listed on the birth certificate. His actual last name was difficult to pronounce, meaning he tended to introduce himself with the alias. Unaware of all this, it was nearly impossible that Jenna could ever track him down - he would have to find her. And throughout her entire life, he never had.

But even then, her countenance mirrored Scott's almost identically. Declan hadn't answered her question - he instead exploded at her. It didn't appear to phase Jenna in the slightest. She was blunt and determined, never one to mince words. Mayor Ryder had been mauled to death by a wolf. Riley was missing. Despite the evidence pointed towards someone attempting to summon a demon, Jenna needed to know. She needed all of the facts. To her, werewolves were mindless beasts on the night of a full moon. "We need the facts, Declan. If you were the one that killed Mayor Ryder, we need to know. It's that simple."

She turned her attention back towards the silver mine. It had something to do with all of this, judging by the symbols she had seen on the wall. Jenna listened to what Finley had said - a murder and an attacked officer. She wanted to go and investigate the mine further, but she had images of those symbols on her phone. She could look at them later. "Mayor Ryder was involved in Satanic rituals, from what I can tell. It has to do with his death. I don't believe that a wolf mauled him because it wanted to - I think it was made to." She turned back to face Finley. "Let's go to the murder site. I can see if the ghost remembers what happened to it."

Lydia Weaver

Location: The Creepy House (again)
Interacting With: Sheriff Bradley

Lydia let out a sigh or relief when she saw Sheriff Bradley come back around the side of the house. The house still made her feel a bit uneasy, but there wasn't much she could do about it. At least the police could take care of it, for the most part anyway. She still wasn't too sure what they could do, since they were still having problems after the mayor's murder. Now they had another body to deal with, and that made her feel bad for them.

She sat quietly as he called other officers to show up to the old house. Lydia looked over at the house, where James' body now sat in the cellar. She petted the little kitten that was still in her arms, and she was amazed at the fact that it was still with her. The truth was that she probably needed to name it eventually. She couldn't just keep calling it "the kitten" forever. Lydia pushed that out of her mind, since odds were people were going to ask questions when they showed up, and she needed to be ready with her answers.

Joey made a smooth right turn onto a main street. Only a few streets stood between them and Liv's house.

"So you ain't never fought a day in yo life?" Joey remarked in surprise.

He on the other-hand had fought as many fights as a professional boxer may have had in his career. Back in Brooklyn, kids were a lot meaner, and respect was never given, it was fought for. Joey still had scars from his scrapes back in the day.

"Okay, so what if shit goes down, and I end up in a fight. You ain't jumpin to my defense? No back-to-back?"

@Morose@FantasyChic@Infamous Auror The murder of Mayor Ryder happened late in the evening the night before, and the full moon wasn't out last night fortunately. But it would be good to answer Jenna's question and maybe even get an alibi from Taylor on where he was last night. The walk was fairly short back to the center of town, but they would notice that there were about three police cars pulling out from the parking lot of the police offices with sirens going off. It wasn't very often to see the other cars this active in town unless there was another murder that happened. There was one officer that stood at the entrance of the building, Declan would start to feel a lot better now after his time in the mine and the burns were slowly healing now.

@Dragoknighte When Harry fired his shots into the black smoke he would hear a creepy laugh, and if he got a better look a man in the smoke, the bullets didn't seem to phase him at all as they hit him in the chest. With a flick of his wrist Harry's weapon would be flung out of his hand, the man looked down at his suit seeing bits of blood where the bullets had impacted. "Last chance for you to leave." He said as his eyes turned black suddenly.

@Damo021 Jeanna had left her about 100 dollar tip before she had left the café suddenly, the café seemed to be slowing down now somewhat as everyone continued to have their meal and coffee. Then the manager came out from behind the kitchen and waved Miranda over into the back. He was sitting down in the small office in his chair looking over at Miranda for a moment, it looked like he wasn't happy still after her sudden outburst from. "Your going to be taking the rest of the day off, cant have your sudden outburst like that come back tomorrow."

@Infamous Auror@LokiLeo789 As the two of you drove back out of the lake and made your way back towards town the two of you would see at least three other police cars driving and then turning up the road that would lead to the abandoned house. They could try and see what was going on over there if they wanted to. Or they could go and continue the drive back towards Olivia's house which wasn't that far either, but there could possibly be something that happened and they could try and look.

Abe looked at his niece for a moment raising an eyebrow, it was true sometimes he did come across a few federal agents in the past that had come up against some supernatural. He shook his head slightly he still wasn't sure if he could trust her at all or not, he gave a slight shrug. "We will just have to find out from her then I guess." Abe said as he started to hear some sirens and watched as about three police cars were driving up the road and then going down a private road. He looked over at his niece for a moment as he stopped the car and decided to make a U-turn and headed that way.

Abraham then made his way towards the road and then parked the car a good ways away from where the officers were he could see the abandoned house in the distance. Making sure that it was parked in the trees so that they wouldn't really be seen. "Looks like there is something that happened." Abe said towards Kosara as he slowly got out of the car his curiosity getting the better of him now.

Jeanna Grayson

Jeanna was the first person who was on the scene as she pulled up next to Sheriff Bradley's car, she climbed out of it and looked over at him for a moment. "What happened here?" Jeanna asked as she then saw someone who was sitting in the car, she went to get a better look to see who it was. She saw Lydia there along with a kitten there in her arms, before turning her attention towards Bradley as he started to give her an answer. "She and what I guess was a friend came here with some information related to the mayor." He said as he pulled out the letter that Lydia had handed to her.

Jeanna took the letter into her hand and looked down at it then turned her head as she heard the other cars starting to pull up seeing them all coming out. "Secure the area and then start looking for evidence." Bradley said to his officers, then gestured to the car. "Shes the only witness i'll leave you to it." Bradley said before making his way towards the crime scene. Jeanna then moved her way over and opened the door looking down at Lydia and gave her a friendly smile. "Hi there i'm Agent Grayson, what can you tell me what you know?" Jeanna asked her.

Well there went that whole "Fight" option. Disarmed against a seemingly invincible... man(?) (yeah the hi-point wasn't exactly much better than a peashooter, but nobody just took bullets to the chest like they were nothing) there were very few options that a rational mind would be able to come up with, and even fewer that presented the option of not dying horrifically. Harry didn't need to be told again to leave. In fact, his brain didn't even really register that warning he had been given. The private investigator turned around and booked it as fast as he could muster.

It wasn't elegant, or dignified, but it was the best he could do. His body pushed itself beyond physical limits he had forgotten he possessed. And he'd keep going until he was back in a civilized area, where all the exertion he'd performed would hit him all at once. Everything from his legs to his throat would burn, and his lungs would weakly flop in his chest in an effort to reoxidize his blood stream. It wouldn't be until some few minutes had passed recovering from the physical strain of the ordeal that his wits would begin to return to him. This is all assuming he actually managed to make it out of the forest intact, of course.

Finley Alestair

Location: Walking Back To Town

Finley would have been more upset with Jenna had her own thoughts not run the same course. However, deep inside of her, she knew Declan wouldn't harm anyone. Wolf or not, even if Declan turned wolf and couldn't control it, it was not him that killed the Mayor and kidnapped the girl. "Declan didn't kill the mayor. Whatever happened, it wasn't him that did it. Wolf or not. You should know that already Jenna, but I understand your wariness. This is new to me so...gonna need like 40 cups of coffee to process this without it giving me a headache."

Finley would have insisted on taking Declan to the hospital, had it not been evident he was feeling much better. "Fine, no hospital, but don't do anything stupid like that again! I'm not losing my new wolf buddy." She meant it jokingly. It was still going to take her some time to get used to the idea that Declan could be a wolf. "We all want answers to questions, so instead of interrogating on the street, let's head to my original destination of the cafe and talk it out there. Sound good to everyone?" She didn't want for a response, instead making her way.

Which was good, as she saw the squad of police cars, with lights on, driving off. It had to be her vision. "My vision...it came true. Someone else died. And I couldn't stop it..."

Kosara Koleva

Location: Abe's car

“Gramps... curiosity killed the cat.” Kosara warned him, but she too followed him outside of the car, leaning on it's roof, to the side, observing the police cars and the policemen walking about the scene. Her money was on someone having died. Probably not the best thing to happen. Their problems just increased once more.” This much police attention, it's big. Given the recent events I'd say someone died or was attacked.” Kosara concluded, still observing from the side.

The writer threw a curios glance at her gramps and smirked.” Want to go there? I'd say chances are good we'd be told to keep away. Then they would be curious why were are here around this time of the day. Then they might ask why we've got weapons in the car like that...” She threw in a few pokes at Abraham with a smile. Frankly the fact there were weapons in the car wasn't that much of a problem. They were all put away safely in the trunk. None of the guns were recently shot either. Even her sword shouldn't have any blood traces on it.” Well, okey you want to go alone, or should I tag along with you?”

Lydia looked up again when she saw Sheriff Bradley start talking to a woman. When the woman came over and spoke to her, it wasn't exactly the best thing to do. Explaining things again was not at the top of her list, since James had died not too long ago, it still felt strange to her, the fact that not too much time had passed since his death. She stroked the kitten in her arms, took a deep breath, and spoke to her.

"It started back by the cafe. I found this little guy, and saw another cat with a letter or something in its mouth. I managed to grab it, and that's when I met James. The cat scratched my leg and he went with me to get it fixed up. After that, we noticed that the letter had a return address, and it was addressed to the mayor, which is why we ended up over her. We knocked a few times, before he opened up the cellar and walked in. We got creeped out by everything down there... I walked out, and James was behind me, before the door slammed shut. I tried to open it again, but I couldn't... When it finally opened again, I saw James, and then ran to town,"Lydia said, choking out these last words. She hoped that no one asked her to repeat the story again. It was not something she wanted to have to repeat more than was necessary.

"So you ain't never fought a day in yo life?" After a bit of a pause, he continued. Taylor shook her head before listening with a raised eyebrow. "Okay, so what if shit goes down, and I end up in a fight. You ain't jumpin' to my defense? No back-to-back?"

Taylor rolled her eyes and pointed back with her thumb towards Sadie. "That's what I own a dog for." she laughs and reaches back over her shoulder to give Sadie a few loving pets before turning back to Josh. "No, but seriously, if it came down to it," Taylor looked over at him as if she could look into his eyes, though she knew he had to keep his eyes on the road. "I'd fight for you. With you."

Taylor blushed a little and looked ahead through the windshield, spotting the cars coming their way just before they turn onto a road that led up to the creepy abandoned house almost everyone in town knew about and tended to avoid. A shiver ran down Taylor's entire body at the thought of another murder, her mind immediately thinking of her friends and cousin. She really hoped they had nothing to do with those squad cars. "Already visited one crime scene today, can we just.. not even go there? I'm kinda over the whole Mystery Gang thing, for the day." She had to admit, it was a bit too much for her in all reality.

Location: Heading towards Cafe; Heading Home
Interactions: Finley { @FantasyChic } ; Gwen { @Morose }

"We need the facts, Declan. If you were the one that killed Mayor Ryder, we need to know. It's that simple."

That was it. That was the breaking point. Declan kept walking, putting a couple large strides between him and the girls as he let a wolfish snarl rip through his teeth.

"The fact that you could even say that, or even just think that, shows just how fucked this friendship is." Suddenly Declan spun around and marched straight up to Gwen, pointing an index finger at her. "I risked my goddamn life for you today, and this is how you thank me?" Declan shook his head and stepped back, exchanging his index for his middle finger as he turned and walked back away from her. "Fuck you, Westbrook. Thanks for having some fucking faith in me." With teeth grit, he marched his (un)happy ass down the trail, walking with great strides.

"Declan didn't kill the mayor. Whatever happened, it wasn't him that did it. Wolf or not. You should know that already Jenna, but I understand your wariness. This is new to me so...gonna need like 40 cups of coffee to process this without it giving me a headache."

Declan's heart and mind equally calmed after hearin' that. He had done as much research as he could on what he was since the day he found out what it was that he was going to become. He knew they had tempers, he knew they couldn't be controlled for a long period of time after they first became infected. Once he found that out, he took the extra steps and locked himself away. Both him and Taylor did. Together they'd both reinforced the basement beneath Taylor's house, and they changed in chains. Now, a couple years after the whole ordeal, they could control their other form and they had nothing to worry about. What had happened to Taylor wasn't his fault. Taylor even would admit to it, if she was asked. Declan, however, wasn't about to spill her secret just after spilling his own.

"Fine, no hospital, but don't do anything stupid like that again! I'm not losing my new wolf buddy." Declan half smirked, rubbing the back of his neck. "We all want answers to questions, so instead of interrogating on the street, let's head to my original destination of the cafe and talk it out there. Sound good to everyone?"

"Honestly Fin, I think I'll just head home. Really done, right now. Text m-" Shit. "Um, I'll come by and see you later. Alright?" Without waiting for a response, knowing all too well it'd be some type of rebuttle to make him stay, he ran off towards his house. He'd shift into his other form once he was far from the girls. Dec knew he didn't have to worry about them following him. With his speed, he'd lose them quickly and easily.

Miranda Burke

Location: Café Interacting with:

Miranda couldn’t believe her eyes when she realized just how much of a tip Jeanna had just given her, she had not much chance to count it but could tell it would be a lot, probably the highest tip ever in her in red lake and would certainly help keeping a roof over her head or treating herself to something later. It was entirely possible the agent did not mean to leave that much, in which case she may have to look for the agent later when she was not so busy.

The café did seem to quieten down now though and gave a chance for Miri to clean up some on the tables and take what was finished away, most people seemed to be having their meals now while there was no more spectacle of the Miranda standing up to her boss and giving him a piece of her mind for the way he was speaking to her when trying to helping the FBI agent.

Speaking of the boss, he had come out from the back and waving for the blonde of to come with him. Yep, this was pretty much going to be it, some sweet revenge for him for her making him so tiny in front of people… After all he was the manager so what she did could technically get her fired, she hoped to god that didn’t happen, she needed to the job to keep the place she was living at as she had not yet managed to get a house mate, although there was always hope on that front.

Following her manager into his office, he was already sitting down before her, she on the other hands decided to remain standing. The look on his face was still apparent that he was not happy with her still, but in honestly he should know what she was like by now. And then he had to say those words. “Are really kidding me right now?” She paused. “I wouldn’t have had that sudden outburst if you didn’t act like an ass earlier, it wasn’t as if I want talking about sunshine and rainbows, I was being questioned by a FBI agent if you didn’t notice.” Her voice was slightly raised; it was clear she was not impressed with this outcome.

Running her hand through her hair in frustration and sighing deeply in defeat, Miranda then crossed her arms. “Tell you what fine, I’ll go home and cool off or something.” She paused. ‘Yeah before I do something I’ll regret, although kicking you in the balls feels so good a thought right now.’ she thought to herself. “While you’re at it, maybe you should call in Finley or something to cover as now your one short.” She retorted before she didn’t wait for permission to leave the office and went on to get her stuff and clock out.

Jenna Westbrook

Location: Silver Mine --> Town Center

Jenna couldn't exactly claim she was surprised that Finley didn't consider the possibility that Declan had killed the mayor. It was for the same reason that detectives rarely suspected their partners on cases, even if there were clear signs of potential involvement. Friendship created implicit trust, it created positive feelings and a willingness to overlook it. But Jenna couldn't allow herself to do that, even as she saw the clear pain and anger from Declan. She had to consider each and every possibility. She needed the facts, regardless as to how she felt about the other people involved.

Biased investigations were doomed to fail. Finley should have known that. "You want to talk about how fucked up this friendship is?" Jenna asked, raising an eyebrow. "How about the fact that you've had a crush on me for ages and still do, even while dating a girl named Jenna?"

"And as for you risking your life for me - thanks. But you also forget that you have given us zero information on what's true about werewolves. Everything I know indicates that werewolves are mindless beasts when they transform, hurting anything in their path. Fucking Remus Lupin couldn't even fight that." She huffed slightly, watching as Declan marched off. She didn't expect sympathy or understanding from Finley. She pulled out her phone, typing in replies to her missed messages, as well as sending off one to her brother, Kosara, and the FBI agent.

"Look, you can go to the café if you want to...I want to go take a look at that crime scene. I need to figure out what exactly is going on, beyond a Satanic cult."

To Liv:
I'm fine. Busy. -J

To Jason:
I'm so fucking down with this goddamn town. Wish you were home. -J

To Kosara:
1) Abe needs to get a fucking phone already. 2) Can I spend the night at your guys' place? Got some hypotheticals to discuss... -J

To Jeanna:
Tomorrow - Can you help me find my birth father? I can't find any records on him. -J

Joey's heart rate was as fast as it's ever been. Taylor's sincere words sent him reeling.

"Y-yeah, I got you to. No matter what?"

From behind there was a sudden blast from a siren and a series police cruisers appeared in Joey's mirror, the red and blue lights flashing brightly in the gathering gloom of the evening gloom. As law dedicated he slid into the shoulder and let them pass on ahead. Only a few houses down they came to a stop.

"Already visited one crime scene today, can we just.. not even go there? I'm kinda over the whole Mystery Gang thing, for the day."

Just as he was thinking. "Yeah, Gang will let the authorities deal with a case for once." he breathed, glaceing at the situation before driving on.

@Morose@FantasyChic Declan had managed to get far enough away from you girls now, they wouldn't be able to catch up to him now, there were a few people in the streets near the sidewalks and near the police station. They were all wondering the same thing as well, if there was another murder in town or not. "What is going on in this town?" An older man asked, the two of you could head to the crime scene now if you chose to, or go your separate ways for now.

@Infamous Auror Declan would be able to hear the last bit of words Jenna had said to him before he ran off from Jenna and Finley, and he was also now a fair amount of distance away from the people of town to shift into his wolf form if he chose to run back to Taylor and his place. There was a small hint of sulfur scent that he could pick up as well but it was very faint, it was in the general direction where the lake would be located at if he decided to follow the scent. He would also get a vibration from his phone it was a text from Olivia, however the screen was very much broken and couldn't see who had texted him, and parts of the phone itself were broken as well.

@Dragoknighte Harry would hear the man laugh as he watched him run away from him like a scared little animal, but he wasn't following him at all. The black smoke quickly faded away, he would hear his voice once more however. "Run away little piggy." He said with another evil laugh, Harry managed to get out of the forest and back to where the lake was where Olivia and all of her friends were earlier. However there was still that strong smell of sulfur, his car would be right where he had left it just moments earlier.

@Damo021 The manager looked at Miranda as she spoke, it was a business and he didn't like his employees yelling at him in the middle of the restaurant. He rolled his eyes slightly as Miranda continued to give him attitude, but didn't say anything else. "I'll see you tomorrow." He said as Miranda turned and left the café and clocked out, once she was out though she could hear a few people talking about the police scrambling earlier and talk of another possible murder that may have happened. She could answer Olivia's text now that she was free to do whatever she wanted for the rest of the day.

@Infamous Auror@LokiLeo789 The rest of the drive through town was uneventful, Olivia's house wasn't that far from the center of town, and they would be able to get there right away to Olivia's place, once they were there they would see Olivia just about to enter her house and closing the door behind her.

@Kirah There wasn't much going on, at Heather's place right now the small cottage that she lived in she would suddenly hear her phone going off. After about a minute of ringing, they left a message and it was the café. "Hey was wondering if you are able to cover a shift for the evening. If you can please call back, thank you and have a good day." The message stopped playing there wasn't much else going on, she could also go out into town as well.

Abraham looked towards his niece and shook his head slightly at her comment, he leaned up against his car and eyed the police cars that were there. One in particular he saw was the FBI agent near one of the officer's cars, who appeared to be questioning someone but he couldn't see who it was in the car. He turned his attention towards Kosara once more there were way to many officers now at the moment, so it was probably not the best time to ask questions. And it also appeared that they had just gotten to the crime scene as well, and he didn't want to tamper with their evidence.

"Nah gonna let them do their thing now, and they just got here so we might not get any information that would be useful best to swing by later and figure things out from there." Abe suggested, as he opened the front door to his car looking over at his niece. "Unless ya wanna flash yourself at the cops to get their attention or something." Abe said with a laugh as he started up his car again and waited for Kosara to get in.

Jeanna took out a small notepad and started to write down everything that Lydia was saying, she eyed the letter once more wondering what was in it. She would have to examine it further later, Jeanna continued to listen to Lydia's side of the story so far she was the only witness. As far as she could tell there was no one else at the scene except for her, and she seemed to be shaken up about the whole ordeal. "Sorry to hear about what happened to your friend." Jeanna said as she stuffed the notepad back into her pocket, just as she felt her phone vibrate.

Looking down she saw that it was at text from Jenna, but decided to not answer it for now, she was in the middle of the crime scene. "Also thank you for your time, I know it is very hard to talk about it and all. I can give you a ride back to town do you live far from here?" Jeanna asked looking at Lydia and the kitten she leaned down and gently patted the kitten on the head as she heard it starting to purr.

Olivia Johnson

Interacting With:

Olivia turned and closed the door to her house as she felt her phone going off she saw that it was a text from Jenna, and sighed slightly of course she was busy it seemed. But she decided to just leave it at that, as she started to make her way over towards her kitchen and started to grab herself a can of soda. She started to turn on the TV in the kitchen as she leaned herself up against the counter as she watched some random cartoon show that was on there before taking out her phone once more to send a reply.

To Jenna:
"Alright then, just let me know whenever you are free."

To Declan:
"Hey, whats up what are you up to?"

Once Olivia had finished up her texts she closed up her phone and opened up the can of soda taking a sip of it and went back to watching her show, running a hand through her hair slightly and stretched somewhat letting out a slight yawn the day so far had been pretty unproductive. She also started to wonder what exactly was going on at the lake, and what that strange smell actually was.

Slowly, Harry managed to stumbled his way back to his car, dig his keys out of his pocket and after several jabs around it, stuck the key in the lock so he could actually get inside it. Now dirtying up the interior with his sweat-soaked clothes/hair/everything and in relative safety (as far as he was aware), he had a chance to think about something other than blinding fear. Firstly, he needed a new gun. Preferably something with a bit more punch than a 9mm.

Second, whatever that thing was, it obviously knew where Riley was. Although going back there was the last thing he wanted to do, he was hired to find Riley Walker, and dammit, he was going to find her. Harry pulled out his handy notebook and in all caps scrawled FOREST and circled it several times. He'd then proceed to write down as many things as he could bring himself to remember about the encounter; he needed record as much as he could while the memory was still fresh in his mind, before time could wipe away any important details.

Black fog, sulfur, telekinesis, telepathy, immortality. Harry stared at the paper and wondered what the hell he'd be able to do with such a thing lurking out in the woods. Well, at least he knew what he was going to do for the rest of the day. With the twist of a wrist, the car moved out of the parking lot and moved to the library. There was much reading up to be done.

Heather

Heather was frustrated. She had been pacing around her house and making tea. Only making it, she kept forgetting about it and then it would be overstepped and bitter. It was her first full day back from California. Her mother's funeral had only been a few days ago. That was why she was frustrated. Her mother was gone, stolen from her by cancer.

The phone rang, and Heather glared at it. She would rip it out of the wall if she could. It rolled over to voicemail, and her boss' voice was offering her a shift. He knew she was back in town, but she had requested a couple more days off. That was the proper thing to do after one's mother died. Heather paced some more and then grabbed her purse.

She'd rather be at work doing something then pacing at home. It would take her a few minutes to walk there, which she preferred over driving most of the time anyway.

Kosara Koleva

Location: Abe's car

"Awee... gramps you know me so well!" She smiled, giggling as Abe stated that it was better to show later and not attract teh attention of the FBI and the police right now. Still his comment that it was her choice to hop tehre if she wanted was what mae her giggle like a young girl again." Don't worry, I will not be doing needless things. I too think it's better to not be here right now. The police plus us plus the things in the forest... All of these things do not equal a good thing." Was her statement before she entered the car once more, but not before snapping a photo with her phone from this distance and no lightning of course. It wouldn't provide anything great of a picture but it would still show something.

"Yeah, let's go." She concluded, putting on her seatbelt, allowing Abe to get hte car moving once more." It sure would have been useful to have some answers only the dead could give... You know any mediums in the region we can ask to come?" Kosara asked Abe, looking out the window into the dark woods."I knew a few back in Europe, but obviously those won't help us here... alternatively we can try divination or seance ourselves, but that harbors it's own dangers so I don't think we are that much out of options just yet."

Finley Alestair

Location: Walking To Crime Scene

Finley had a surge of emotions playing out in her head. She wanted to run to check on Declan, though she knew (especially with new information) he would be too fast for her. She wanted to check on Taylor because she had a SHIT ton of questions for her now. She especially wanted to smack Jenna for being a bigger bitch than herself.

Most of all, she wanted to go hug her grandparents.

Finley could see Jenna's perspective. She would be stupid not to. But Declan was her friend and even if that blinded her to the truth, they stood no benefit of standing here, accusing him of a crime he may or may not have committed. Finley felt especially venomous. "Isn't it innocent until proven guilty, Jenna? I thought a policeman's daughter would know that better than anyone." She hated herself as soon as the words came out, but frankly, Jenna deserved it.

She began walking towards the crime scene. Her intention was to find that tape. Jenna could tag along or do her own thing. Regardless, she had a plan.

She sent a quick text to Taylor.

-Hey, we need to talk. Meet up later?

Jenna Westbrook

Location: Town Center

Finley's words cut deep, though perhaps not in the way they were intended to. Jenna hadn't taken the revelation that she was adopted rather well. Her eyes seemed to be ablaze as she stared back at her friend, unable to stop the words from spilling from her mouth. "Good. Because my father isn't a policeman," Jenna said. She didn't know much about her birth father - his name was Scott Jones and there were hardly any records on him. When she found out her birth mother was in the FBI, she assumed that her father had to have some sort of military or government affiliation - but instead, it was like she was chasing a ghost.

As for Finley's actual argument, Jenna found a flaw in the logic. She hadn't assumed guilt or innocence - she had asked a question. If anything, Declan's behavior would only cast more suspicion on himself. She let Finley walk ahead without her, glancing down at her phone as she saw her "twin brother" reply. She smiled slightly despite her anger - Jason was always able to bring out the best in her. And she, of course, brought out the best in him.

To Jenn:
I'm just a few bus rides away, remember? Something happen, Jenn?

To Jason:
Oh, just the usual. Surrounded by assholes -J

To Jenn:
Lol go easy on them. You can be a bit intimidating.

To Jason:
Good. Talk soon? -J

To Jenn:
Sure thing.

She then put her phone back into her pocket. There still hadn't been a reply from Kosara. She debated whether or not she wanted to go to the crime scene if Finn was going to be there. But as soon as the thought popped into her head, she knew she had to move forward. Even if they were fighting, they were still her friends. And if this problem wasn't dealt with, more people would die and more would vanish. This fight wasn't worth abandoning them.

Jenna headed towards the crime scene.

Lydia Weaver

Location: The Creepy House (again)
Interacting With: Jeanna Grayson

Lydia watched as Jeanna wrote down what she was saying. Stuff like police work never really interested her, that was more of her cousin's department. She never really cared about it, and the one time she did get curious and look into something, someone wound up dead. The little kitten in her arms provided some comfort, especially when it started purring again. The little thing made it easier for her to talk about what had happened.

When Jeanna offered to give her a ride, she nodded. She didn't really want to walk back, and didn't really want to be alone at the moment. "Yeah, thanks I'd appreciate that. I don't think I live too far from here. I've been staying up on Forrester Drive with some family," she said, before going back to petting the little kitten again, still finding its purr to be soothing.
