Slowly, very slowly, Daniel made his way across the ground, closer and closer to the man that was arguing with Kaori. He could hear his thoughts clear as day, and Daniel didn't like them. His pupils were dilated, and his fangs barred, but he kept his head low so that no one could tell. If anyone was looking at him, it would just look like he was crawling away. He could smell the blood that had pooled on the ground, and that was probably what was giving him the will to even move, let alone do what he did next. Not caring about the consequences that Kain had proposed, not caring about what Kaori would think of him if he killed the guy, Daniel looked up and lunged at the man with the last of his strength, knocking him down. He quickly sunk his fangs into the man's leg, desperately looking for anywhere to get blood, and started draining. It only took a good five seconds before Daniel unclasped his fangs and rolled away once, away from the downed hunter, and breathed heavily. Already, he could feel his regeneration process starting.
