"Again with the wet hugs." Ace laughed, but gladly accepted it. Mary was a nice kid. Maybe they'd visit her again if they ever passed the lake. It wasn't long before a voice called out from the water. "Mom?" Ace looked over Mary, only seeing the water. No matte how hard she looked, she could only see the surface. "Oh, bye Mary! Nice meeting you." She waved and watched her disappear into the lake. "Cool. Even cooler if there is a city there." Ace turned, following Harper out of the water. She was more than eager to hurry to the cave, but she waited and took the opportunity to rest with the other two. Ace took a seat in a sunny patch off the shore to dry up, even if it was just a little. Mary had dampened her clothes, but it wasn't too bad. Ace was sure it would probably dry off in the matter of time. She pondered over Harper's question, gazing out into the lake. "Well, I wouldn't want bad eggs tainting my kingdom... They must've done something wrong. Maybe they thought they had some divine right to take over? Or maybe they went insane and tried -maybe even succeeded- to kill a Nobody? There's also the possibility that those humans could've been framed and the siren really is the bad guy. Or we could all be trapped in some twisted game, one that's being controlled every step of the way... By the Queen herself! Or- or-" Ace paused, realizing she started to ramble. With a small laugh, she looked over at them and shrugged. "I don't know. The clues aren't fitting together properly. Maybe the other group has helpful pieces to the puzzle."
