[@Shard]The only issue I have with it is that he doesn't need to eat.  I'm going for a fairly realistic world, so he would need to get material to regenerate his body somehow.  I don't care how you do that, though.  He could be a vampire, or steal tissue from dead bodies, or just be a vegan that only drinks smoothies, or something else if you want him to be unusual in that way.
