They more or less agreed with what Darston, the Resident General said. They nodded in agreement. Charles Backhouse has taken his turn to speak for now, and not the Commander himself will speak. "So, as for these social and government reforms...what might they be?" he asked, inquisitively. The others at the table took a few notes about what was being said, before one of them took a drink of a glass of water. _ Meanwhile, the Federation advanced further into the northern Yahpi territories. Though, no slaves were alive as they were all on the ground, shot to death before they could ever see the light of freedom. The invading Veilletes forces were met by flaming spiked cannonballs and musket fire along with screaming Yahupi warriors chanting various religious chants as they fought. These Yahupi were probably quickly defeated though some of them hid in buildings and in bushes, when Veilletes soldiers came by they shot and slaughtered them mercilessly. The Yahupi won't simply be defeated without a long, hard battle.
"Statistically, we need a data to show what is your current level of society when comparing to us." said Darston after looking through his documents about a basic understanding of the Federation. "Let us tackle the education system first and beforehand. Maybe this segment need a certain of improvements, and then we check the social infrastructures needed to accomplice." said by Darston. ------- The first wave of Veilletes marine invasion has succeeded in holding a position of Yahupi's island coastal line. The Yahupi defenders have faced a few things that they never seen or heard of the new Veilletes toys they brought onto their lands, and so turning a small skirmishing incursion, into a pointless death of massacre until a last Yahupi resistance (from a single island) has dropped dead onto their feet. The Veilletes have brought in some sort of a metal beasts that can go fast and kill fast (known as the AFV) that shredded some poor Yahupi musketmen by their light autocannons, and their outdated muskets will not be able to penetrate the ferocious metal beasts or throwing spike-balls no matter how hard they tried. It's not just the metal beasts that they're worried too much in Veilletes first naval invasion, but feared by their latest infantry equipment that seemly brought from the AA's land military manufactures. Armed with a variety of weapons that goes from shooting a hundred times faster than Yahupi ranged soldiers (Machine guns, Assault rifles), hit harder than a musket ball (Rifles, Anti-Material Rifles), and can create explosions at a whim of their designated aim (Mortar, Bazookas, Grenades). These soldiers of Veilletes marines were also fitted with a hidden armor inside of a deceived ragged clothing (armor vests) and can be communicating by as far or more as any Yahupi strait means of communication (radio). Once the Veilletes marines have secured the beaches, they're going to send a missionary (along with escorts) through the harsh jungles and attempting to subjugated the local Yahupi people to fight and defect their own cause by their own Veilletes religion. Since the reasoning behind those motivations of the means to subjugated the people does have many reasons. One, the Veilletes Military Force aren't that big and have to rely on technological advantage or gather many local people as possible to fill in their ranks. Two, the integration of the new indigenous people under Veilletes Republic will be much easier later on, and lastly but not the last, it's basically follows a similar path and glory just like the Militarian-Veilletes Empire once were, and so repeated their past history but at a different scale. The Veilletes marines have started their outposts and establishment of new coastal towns in order to solidified the claim on said island and whilst expanding their Veilletes naval free trade network.
The UFO slowly sputters into the Federation territory, but starts to regain speed. The problem appears to be fixed. The ship's engineer approaches the pilot, having good news to bear. "The fuel cells are all intact, the only problem is that they were knocked out of place. I have put them back in properly, the ship should run without any more problems now." "This is good, but what do you think caused them to be out of place?" "It is definitely related to the incident involving Specimens 7721-A and B breaking out of their enclosure, but I think this ship was thankfully not damaged." "But the ship was working fine when we took off, why did our ship slow down while we were in flight?" "The fuel cells surrounding the ones that were out of place were unusually loose. I assume some of the cells fell out of place during takeoff but I do not know what caused them to become loose." "Understood." "We are now landing in an unknown human territory. Use standard procedure given by our Advisors." The UFO then slowly descends down, the people can now clearly see a it's completely silver hull and the large, glowing green light coming from the bottom. It lands on top of the nearest building, extending 4 landing legs, arranged in cardinal directions. It waits. The UFO stops at the first outpost it sees and lands. It waits for the soldiers to do something.
The AA soldiers at the outpost have sent their jeeps and military trucks, then heads to the UFO for beginning their investigation on those undefined alien race. Not knowing on what they're actually doing at AA territories and probably there for diplomacy of some sorts due for being a single, only UFO thing at that area, and thus they bringing some military weapons just in case when anything goes horribly wrong during their fortunate investigation of those aliens.
The octocopter lands on the deck of the diplomatic vessel. Its rotors power down and some sort of white smoke wafts off the top of it. Parts of its exterior fold open, and a startling blue light emits from all 8 sides that blinds those too close. A high pitched screeching emits from it, quite loud and bothersome. This assault on human senses lasts for 10 seconds, as the blue light fades in and out. The deafening screech stops and so does the lights. The hatches on its center column close and the copter engages the loud enough motors and hovers into the air. Then, blue lasers trace a faint cube around the octocopter, and those 6 sides begin to become opaque, eventually its nearly impossible to see the octocopter as it flies back to the destroyer, covered in a sky-blue box light box.
"What the heck is that?" Said by the personnel of the diplomatic vessel after looking at the Octocopter before flew off. "Err, can I have a permission to dock? We don't have much time blindly around without a way to proceed forward." radio by a captain of a diplomatic vessel.
"Alright, " The radio operator responded "You will be escorted towards the nearest port. Please follow the three ships that should be around you. We will be keeping a close eye on you." The radio channel was closed. The radio operator rubbed his eyes. "It's those weird guys from the west again." He said to his colleague sitting on the opposite side of the room, "I want you to go straight to the commander and report this. I will contact the capital to tell them we've got visitors." The other man walked to his commander's office. He knocked twice. "You may come in." Came from inside the room. As soon as the man entered the commander asked "What is the situation?" "The NMR ships have intercepted a convoy with destroyer escorts claiming to be a convoy from the 'Militarist Army'. We suspect they are from the same group of people that landed on our shore a while ago. They say they want to negotiate about something, but I couldn't quite understand what. My colleague already started contacting the capital to ask for one of our diplomats." "Alright then," The commander replied, "Give orders to the NMR ships to escort them to the nearest port. Make sure the shore batteries know they can't shoot at the convoy, but tell them to keep an eye on it in case they do something stupid. Get the diplomat the Khan sends to the port as well." "Yes sir!" The man replied, and he went to do all of those things. Meanwhile the radio operator contacted the capital to tell the news of this new nation, in the capital the Khan made the decision to send the diplomat Stephen Michel as envoy, as he had the most experience with this new unknown nation because he was there when they landed on Khaganate soil. The Creature-like NMR ships slowly started moving in one direction, towards the port where the convoy was supposed to be greeted.
"All right." said by the ship captain of AA. The AA adversaries on a convoy are slowly driven towards to a nearest port where it was escorted by the three Lanist 'ship' things. Once reached, the adversaries began to disembark their transport ships at the nearest port and awaited for Lanist diplomats to arrive. Strangely enough, the Kronfurter was really there within the adversaries as a group, and his goal was to overseeing the diplomacy process for the AA in return for at least a non-aggression pact with the Lanist Khaganate. Any failures of diplomacy for the Kronfurter will going to be treated with demotion by the Commander when returning home to their HQ.
