Alright, Let's give a shot at it... again.

Name: Sir Enzo Aquila
Age:16
Gender:Male
Race: Human
Appearance:What are you looking at?
Personality: Sullen and cynical, Enzo has a thin patience for fools and whimsical people, appearing as if he was a crotchery old geezer rather than the teenager he is supposed to be. A guy who takes things seriously and perhaps too seriously, he strives to prove everyone he is a serious dedicated knight. However, he acknowledges that honour cannot win all battles, and in the end, the results weigh more than the intentions, and the world is shades of grey rather than absolutes. Beneath this shell, however, he is a well-meaning guy, even though he has trouble expressing and channeling his feelings of worthlessness and impotence at times, resorting to sarcasm and snark to convey his opinion most of the time. He is also ashamed of the reputation of his brother, and his own shaky status and finances as upjumped landed knight family when confronted the true old blood.
Brief Backstory: Enzo was born as the third child of Sir Francesco Aquila, lord of Harpy's Nest, a small tower fortress that presided a mining town in the mountains of Thaln. True to its name, it contained several nests of harpies which were fully integrated as part of the townsfolk, usually offering airborne services to ferry parcels on and off the mountain. Enzo spent his childhood between rowdy miners, exotic bird women, and not the most effluent or rich of lives, but he never suffered need of anything as the lord's son. He had a good, well rounded education and was a well meaning and no nonsense child. He however, always was sour when his two eldest beat him in fights, and it was his illusion to become a knight to make the Aquila family proud. By his father's counsel, he became a page of a known knight and did not shirk his duties, eventually being knighted at the young age of 16. And then tragedy struck. The lord and lady of the keep died during a landslide that trapped them in the mines, forcing his eldest brother to take the seat of the Lord prematurely. That was the start of trouble for the house Aquila. As soon as he was confronted by the harsh reality of ruling, his eldest brother's mind slipped into insanity, craving for "shiny rocks of power" and creating an harem of harpies for his own amusement. Enzo tried to stop the madness but he didn't have enough clout nor influence to sway his brother's addled mind. It also didn't help that his other elder brother was using the situation to join in the decadent spiral of self harm. Appalled, Enzo made the decision to marshall renown and clout somewhere else, and leaving with little but the clothes on his back, signed up for the Iron Roses as a rather promising recruit.
Equipment:He usually favours cheap weapons, and a simple mace and shield combination when fighting. He may switch it for simple polearms or handaxes if the situation is more fitting. He keeps his plate well maintained. Owns a slightly skittish horse that is missing an eye.
Skills: While not having a particulary stellar pedigree, Enzo boasts a good balanced education and a healthy slice of talent. He is rather cultured, and studious, knowing at least notions on leadership, administration, tactics and strategies, and even a healthy slice of masonry and geology, courtesy of his miner subjects. On the field, Enzo's best skills are usually with the traditional knightly weapons, chiefly the sword, which he can wield rather well in either hand, but also good with the lance and the bow. However, due to his limited income, Enzo is usually forced himself to employ more cost-effective weapons that don't require more finesse. He is usually donning a combination of mace and shield, which may be switched for a pike or an axe depending on circumstances. Enzo is also naturally, a good climber and has a good physical shape overall, due to being raised in a mountain. He also has exquisite penmanship, for some reason.
Other: When in one of his letters, Enzo asked to be paid proper dues as a knight of the Iron Roses of the Aquila family to wring out a little more money of his hoary brother, he didn't get exactly what he asked for.Spica, one of the retainers of his late father was sent instead. The harpy maid is not...well, rather good at maidly tasks, but Enzo figures that a loyal servant who can perform aerial reconnaisance and deliver parcels isn't that bad off. She also sings very well.[s]Plus she was her floofiest nanny not that he would ever admit it.[/s]
