The little girl responded, clarifying the fact that whatever the Siren's song is, that it's probably not a good idea to go around searching it. Suddenly a motherly voice called for Mary and with a short farewell, she dove headfirst into the depths of the lake to comply with the calling. 

Harper spoke up shortly wondering if there may actually be a civilization down there and the thought enchanted her greatly. Ace agreed enthusiastically and continued on to answer his question about the past batches of humans and why the Queen was after them. Bizarre "maybes" and "what ifs" spewed out of her mouth in an excited flurry of ideas. But the two ended up settling on finding the other group to put their clues together in order to solve the mystery... hopefully. 

Heading back like she had been earlier, before the question struck her, an annoying urge to shower slapped her upside the head as she stared at her mossy feet. Shuddering in her soaked flip-flops and moist pant legs, Jasper felt like crawling out of her dirty skin and into a container of sanitizer. As soon as her other two groupmates caught up, she headed towards the caves since she remembered Serenade telling them to snoop around there. Jasper hoped they were headed the right direction as the terrain seemed to get swampier and swampier.
