Some ideas are coming to me for an opening post, kinda a jumbled mess of ideas really, but I'll sort it out. Also, just a quick note that the military is subject to a revamp or whatever.

Honestly, such machines seem possible for the setting if someone wanted to. Of course they probably wouldn't be super agile.
