Aimee reluctantly woke up. The small bed in her little room didn't give her much space. Batting at the alarm clock, she yawned with a little whimper. The young wolf wasn't used to getting up so early. Still, there was dance practice to attend before the first class. After a quick shower, she changed into her normal attire, putting on a sleeveless shirt and some shorts. She didn't bother with her shoes; Aimee only had one pair for formal occasions, and she hated to use them. No one gave her a hard time about it. Her breakfast was quick, consisting of some waffles and oatmeal. Her mother was out again. She had promised to be home by midnight, but she was still out, doubtlessly hanging around with yet another one of her boyfriends. Sighing, Aimee got her school bag on and headed out to school. Soon, she was on the bus. Public transit was slow in this city, but it was all she could afford, not that she minded.
