She sat up from her little makeshift bed and stared out into the forest, her eyes listless and heavy. She opened her mouth and produced a small yawn as her arms reached for the sky, stretching. She twisted and stretched a bit before taking in a deep breathe of the fresh air and opening her eyes. Her eyes were clear and forward facing, ready to take whatever the day may hold. She smiled and began to gather her things. She took everything out of her tent, the flyer, her bag of small provisions, her camera, her clothes, her shotgun, and her books. She didn't have much, but she couldn't afford to lose any of it. She packed it all up in her backpack save for the flyer, her shotgun and her camera before breaking down the tent. When it was broken back down, she stuffed it into the backpack as well and then picked up the flyer, the shotgun and camera, slinging the camera strap, as well as the gun's strap, over her neck. As she walked, the camera bounced slightly against her stomach. She pulled the camera to her face and turned it on as she spotted a small little blue bird sitting very nearby. With a small voice and soothing sound, she began to hum the tune to a song she'd heard before the 'Fall of Man.' Well, that was what she called it anyway. She snapped the shot just before the bird flew far away. Looking down at the captured shot, she smiled. Well, that one was a keeper. On the screen of her camera was an image of the blue bird caught in the action of fleeing, its wings outstretched as if it were floating mid air. She let out a small little laugh and kept walking. To say Emily was a day-dreamer would be an understatement. As she walked, she began to sing a song she remembered. It was called... Royals? She couldn't remember who the artist was, no one really ever could anymore. After all, who cared to? "And we'll never be Royal... duh nuh nah nah nah nah." She sang, as she slowly got more and more into the song. Soon, she was dancing slightly as she walked. She kept this up for a while, singing whatever songs she could remember. Some day, she needed to find an old computer or something and an MP3 player with some headphones and listen to some of it again. She'd always been a fan of music... It was about an hour later when the forest finally cleared and Emily could see the warehouse mentioned in the distance, people already around it. She sighed. I really hope this isn't some sort of trap to get stupid little loners to come and get attacked. I'd really rather not have to shoot anyone unless I really have to anyway. With that heartache over, she began the decent down the small hill towards the others, a small smile on her face. She was, after-all happy to see others that looked relatively nice.
