[@Bounce][@Lord Wraith][@Star Lord]So my Shi'ar are not going to quite be like the one in 616. I'm going to be super specific because I want everyone, not just you guys to understand the Shi'ar. I'm open to suggestions, vetos, and kudos ;D The Shi'ar are a race of technologically advanced aliens. They are not native to the Milky Way galaxy despite them being there for quite sometime. They are at their core a conquering race and have not lost that even over the ages. They are ruled from a planet named Chandilar, the throneworld. Their homeworld is called Aerie but no Shi'ar in the Milky Way has seen it in generations. Among the younger generations the homeworld is largely a myth. This belief bleeds into their politics. Communication between the two galaxies is few and far between, if it even happens at all despite the stargate system. (I LOVE that these aliens have stagnated. My inner nerd just dies everytime) It also plays into the fact the the ruling council and the current Majestrix rule absolutely with no oversight. The Shi'ar nation resides in the sector between the Kree and the Skrulls. Because of this they are the main broker for peace between the two. They also hold their sector brutally and efficiently. They allow neither of the warring races to gain foothold in it. I think in this set up the Shi'ar Empire wouldn't have an overarching influence in the universe around them like the GLC. However due to their conquering mentality they would kind of force themselves into conflicts or situations they might not have any reason to be apart of. I also see them as largely disliked. The ruling family, the Neramani, have largely been warlike and draconian. D'Ken, the former ruler before Lilandra, the Majestrix, was a cruel individual. Lilandra is trying to change the Shi'ar and how they interact with the outside world. But change is slow and memories are long. So even though they are not currently hostile the races around the Shi'ar don't quite believe this about face.
