[@AndyC] can probably explain this better but it's not just glasses, Clark's entire demeanor, his body language and mannerisms are different from Superman. Something that the Christopher Reeves'movies captured very well. He slouched to appear shorter, he wears larger baggy clothing to hide his physique and he acts very meek, mild and timid in comparison to the booming bravado of Superman. All it takes is one conversation with Clark Kent, and you think there's no way that wet blanket is the Man of Steel because it comes off as very genuine.
