Elque Ayt Forye
22 | Female | 131lbs | 5'7 Fire[sub]Goa[/sub] | Native | Demi-Human (Wolf-Cat) Description An unorthodox swordswoman. Elque is a high-strung, feisty Wolf-Cat that sees humans as a pathetic evil existence and why they should just die. She is very proficient with her unparalleled sword art: Tailed Draw where she can wield her katana using her tail while wielding another weapon with her hands. If worse comes to worst, she'll use her sharpened claws. Personality Despite working with the noble Oni, Gris. Elque is far from being nice and kind... at least towards humans, even more so if they dress as fancy. She is indifferent to other races but should a grown man step foot on the grounds they would be met with her glare as well all other Demis working in the estate that Gris owns. Yes, this is how hateful this lady is. Of course, with every rough exterior comes a soft spot, even if it's a hard bullseye to target. Elque seems to care for young children no matter the race which is why she could tolerate Chiyo running around the estate because of her kid-like appearance. The Wolf-Cat won't stand for any abuse and bullying coming her race's way and will stop (or kill) anyone who tries to do so. However, she is known for being hypocritical just to make a point. She hates losing arguments unless it's with someone she's comfortable with. Class Even though she is specially skilled in the use of a sword. She thrashes around a lot much like a Berserker. Bio Enslaved During the bloody war between humans and demis, her town was raided and her parents killed off during the defense. Taken from her home to live as a prisoner of war among the nobles in an unnamed city alongside other captives. She was forced to do labor as a child maid or a toy for stress relief. This had been going on since her childhood before she reached adolescence. One might think that stories like these usually end with someone saving them but unfortunately no one really did come for them but this was when the treaty was signed and the nobles involved were charged with interfering with the peace all because he refused to give up their demi-human slaves for the treaty itself. With no home and nowhere to go, Elque and her humiliated slave-mates were forced to run around the streets begging for essentials only to be refused constantly by even humans under poverty. And she hated it. Amateur Vigilante Tired of being rejected from food and water just because she was a demi, she resorted to theft and robbery. Every sunset before the market stalls close up, she would target fatter and richer human vendors to steal from which is quite rare in her experience, most times she kept getting caught by said vendors and was forced to slaughter them, dragging their body someplace else where no one would look which would explain the missing posters and the fact that the blame was shifted to the Witch Cult rumor. This had worked in her favor and continued to do so just to grow healthy. Noble Slayer Elque had challenged herself one time to attack a small nobleman's manor somewhere in the richer districts as some sort of twisted avenger shtick going on in her mind and the fact that this person was one of the people that tortured her while she was enslaved, allowed to go free (at least from her perspective) by the promise of money. Corruption spreads no matter what race you are, she thought, but it didn't stop her from getting revenge. Under the full moon, she massacred the entire family living the manor with every piece of furniture ravaged beyond repair and bodies ripped apart that it would be hard to identify even with the Metia used around the Capital. As ignorant as they are, they believed whoever killed the noble and his family was her own kind which lead to the city raising martial law and causing her to flee to Priestella via land dragon carriage as a stowaway. This was one mistake she regretted, if she had stuck with the vendors instead then maybe attention wouldn't spike up and blame the Demis instead. Apprenticeship Hopping out of a moving carriage in a ragged cloak, she was standing in front of a rather large estate, greeted by a Demi mail carrier who gave her a happy greeting. To her, this was odd. No nobleman would give a demi fancy clothes and a legitimate job to work under them unless they have some sort of disturbing love pact between them. Investigating this, she snuck in the estate and was found later by Gris Ayt Forye who explained that he was an Oni and not a human. Looking around, she was relieved to say the least that even if Gris has a bad reputation with the human populace in the Water City, at least someone's standing up for the beaten down Demis. She did stick around as a bodyguard even though her claws were the only thing she ever used to kill something. One day, Elque came across Gris training with a target dummy especially modified with armor and its own equipment. Impressed by how well he was trained, she asked to train under him as an apprentice. As good-willed as the Oni was, he accepted and began training her... ...though this wasn't the first time Gris trained someone, according to him, Elque was especially slower in learning than the ones he trained, which was odd. In time, however, she had developed her own sword arts while training with him and had used such a technique to defend all other races oppressed by humanity. At least Elque learned something unique in Gris's apprentice list. Now all she has to do now is use this against the people she hated... the nobility.
