It's like [i][url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Girls_und_Panzer]Girls und Panzer[/url][/i], only with ships. ...[i]Girls und Scharnhorst[/i]? A couple of comments: 3 years is a very short time for Skye to get a command, especially since she enlisted rather than going in as an officer. Secondly, I haven't really researched it, but there might be recreational bands on board Navy ships. I know that happens on carriers, but carriers are very large. Just something to keep in mind. 

At any rate, if you fix the captain's experience/age/timeline, then it'll be accepted.
