Hey! This is Lycus and I'm the person who's been stalking this roleplay. I'm almost finished with my character sheet, it's just been cobbled together because I didn't want you all to have to wait too long on me.
I can put my character in the hallway you all just found (or made, really) so I can join in with the rest of the group.
Physical Features: Fillan has long, dark brown hair that parts in the middle and ends just past his shoulders. It’s very wavy and feels coarse due to the years of neglect it’s suffered. He has a tuft of hair centered just slightly on the left side of his head sticks ups and parts over to the right. His skin tone, which is maybe a shade darker than cottage cheese, is clear and mostly even toned with the exceptions being a more rosy tint on his nose. He eats like a bird and in general, looks like a mess. He’s almost plank-like in overall width to height proportions, being narrow chested and lanky, with more height than width. His arms and legs are slender and twig-like and don't look like they could support much weight on them. Being so skinny and tall, most clothing looks shabby and ill-fitting as if not measured right. He has large, bright blue-green eyes which are framed by a pair of square olive green glasses.
Outfit: He dresses conservatively, wearing a white, button-down, collared shirt and a pair of black slacks with a pair of nice black slides. He doesn’t tend to deviate from his attire very much, except for wearing different colored ties.
Weapon: His math packets? Honestly why would he carry a weapon around he’s just a poor student.
Power: He has the power to manipulate technology. Or rather, speak to it really. He can empathize with and understand electronic devices and machinery. If he asks politely enough, sometimes they’ll do what he asks them.
Attitude: Baleful, shy, and polite. He tries to remain optimistic about those he encounters and generally wants to be helpful and kind towards others.
Basic Personality Traits: While out in public, Fillan’s rather reserved and shy. He’ll entertain conversation if spoken too, but for the most part he passes his free time alone doing math. He’s a polite and compassionate individual, and he generally knows when to say something and when to keep his mouth shut. He's very sensitive though, and it doesn’t take much to shut him down. He also dislikes conflict and arguing and he acts very much like the wallflower of the group. He likes interacting with others on a one-to-one basis because he easily tires from hanging out in crowds for too long. He generally gives off the image of being a shy, nervous, high strung student. But he’s also very hardworking and considerate.
A true academic, Fillan is always eager to learn new things, especially if the knowledge in question is supposedly forbidden or esoteric in nature. Information of that sort is often too tantalizing for him to resist. He naturally questions things and loves exploring new topics and ideas, even if they're implausible. He gets very obsessive about his passions and dedicates most of his life towards them, which is hazardous to his health as he'll neglect self care in favor of doing math work or doing research on a variety of bizarre topics. He tends to be attracted to strange, exotic or downright weird individuals, the more outlandish the person, the more curious and inquisitive he gets.
Towards friends he tends to talk more, but even then he tends to keep a lot to himself. He’s extremely private and while personable, is also very withdrawn, both emotionally and physically.
Strengths: Fillan’s strengths definitely don’t rely on his physical appearance, but more so in his character. He’s a very open-minded individual who is accepting of even the strangest of people and can tolerate a lot without completely caving in, and he’s imaginative and likes to think outside the box when it comes to problem solving. In general, he’s an easygoing person who isn’t very difficult to get along with either, and he cooperates with others.
Weaknesses: Fillan isn’t strong in any sense of the word, emotionally or physically. He tends to hold himself in low regard and as a result, it affects his willpower and motivation to do things sometimes. He has an independent side to him and while he enjoys the company of others, he feels the pull to go off and do his own thing, which can lead to conflict with the rest of the group or putting himself in unnecessary danger.
Sorry for it being so lackluster my dudes. Given the time I would have put more effort into this form. This should do for know though. I'll also get a picture up in a bit once I draw one.
@Canidae That's not a lackluster character sheet in the slightest imho mate. Considering one person pretty much flaked at the start and I said I'd go to 7 max, I have to say welcome to the teammate. It's wonderful to have you here. (Also math packets are a valid weapon™)
@dreamingKatfish Awesome, thanks! I'll move him to the Characters tab then. @RevetheDreamer and I were planning on our two characters having a shared history together if that's alright.
I finally finished doing a digital drawing of my character. I was going to just post a pencil sketch, but I was having some problems with drawing digitally yesterday and I was wondering if the problem was still there. :P Also I have no idea how big I make pictures so sorry if the image is unreasonably large. Also fun fact, remember how I said their creator used to lock them in rooms to see how long it took them to get out, this image is of the first time they got locked in a room with no doors, oh and they were informed there were traps everywhere and if they set one off they wouldn't be repaired and would instead be replaced, hence how apprehensive and worried they look. whoops, guess I really like hurting my characters. that's prolly not a good thing, oh well.
Alright, I still think it would be fun in the meantime if my character used their lights to find the rest of the building's power. which is a horrible thing to say since it's really not pleasant for them to light up. it's actually kinda traumatizing, I don't know why but I like traumatizing my characters I guess, so rip them. and I hope I don't mess with anyone too much w/ the description.
Oof. That's a rip for Isaac right there. Though they're an android, right? I was thinking and Fillan might be able to sense their pain since I think Isaac counts as technology. Though if you don't want to count them or anything that's fine.
@ConanStargazer umm do you mean mill's sam? cause mills changed alex's name to sam. the only alex left is my alex and he's been down in a hole fighting a tiger.
alex: suddenly, the trap door explodes, and i fly out of the hole. i look exhausted. my face is covered in bloody cuts and scratches. i have long, deep cuts across my chest and my shoulder is bent at an odd angle.
? I got a little confused when we first started, sorry if I made any mistakes. ^^' You may want to take that to IC; I think Kludd got Alex out of the void...
@Canidae Yeah rip my boy, but they would count as technology and I tempted to have them say how there aren't alive. I'm hurting a character who constantly insist they aren't hurt and can't actually feel.
