He was a very low-skilled writer who popped up very briefly on the Hype forums in '09 or so. His only real claim to fame was, like Byrd said, writing a post where his character was walking around Metropolis shopping for an apartment maybe three posts after the city had been nuked. He stopped posting almost immediately after that, and vanished into legend.

As far as usernames go I used to go by Chris11302, which is, well, my name and a random string of numbers. This is actually the first site I've used anything different. I was staring at that username space, and I didn't want to go by my usual username, so I just typed in the first thing that came to mind. Voila, Simple Unicycle was born.

Considering I've only been at it about a little over three and a half years now, I remember pretty clearly. Was this writing website that had an RPing section in the forums. It was all pretty low-quality shit in there, at least around the time I came around, like even the guys in Free would be like 'wow that's shitty'. It was December of 2014, I had just turned 13, it was a roleplay set during Ragnarok in suburban America, and all the characters were high school students. I played some nerdy kid named Tom.

Would have been about fifteen/sixteen at the time, and it was on some board dedicated to RPing in the world of David Gemmell's Drenai series of novels. Played a grimdark anti-hero swordsman with a troubled past, tough exterior and a heart of gold. It was real ground breaking stuff for both the time and genre.

Edit: And as you can tell by my portrayal of Dinah as a vigilante with a troubled past, tough exterior and heart of gold, I've come a long way since my humble beginings.

I think my first time rolplaying in general was at Habbo Hotel. However, I have an entire archive of character and nation sheets saved since I joined this site two years ago.
