Making Sonic the Fighters into something actually enjoyable is no small feat.

Indeed.

And now IDW has the Sonic license; all because of Pender's ego. I'm just glad Flynn is still writing for the character. Honestly, Penders is probably the biggest narcissist in comic books and I regret ever looking up to him. I hope he gets his just desserts in the end.

The only aspects of Sonic from my childhood were the SEGA games. Primarily Spinball, as that was the one my family owned, but the rest I played with friends. Never watched a single episode of any of the various cartoons nor read a comic of the character. Nor will I.

As much as I'd like to say you're missing out......meh. The old cartoon from the 90s was the best thing in the world when I was seven, but it sure as hell hasn't aged well. The Archie comic became a convoluted mess until they rebooted, and unfortunately it only made it through one major arc post-reboot before the company canceled the book. I do suggest playing Sonic Mania since it's basically the old Sega Genesis games refined and perfected, but beyond that, ehhh.

Yeah, but that convoluted mess had a lot of fun to it. Unfortunately, most of that at least requires a predisposition of enjoying the character in some fashion to really get any satisfaction out of it. There's probably not anything worth getting into the back catalog at this point. I still grieve for the Archie Comics run as it was killed by a narcissistic megalomaniac.

Well, it didn't help that just as the series had finally shed all the leftover baggage of said narcissistic megalomaniac and started to stand on its own feet again, Archie Comics killed the series because they wanted to get rid of basically every title that wasn't part of their increasingly terrible Riverdale line.

Penders consistent legal pushes against Archie probably also tested SEGA's patience with the company. I think there was a lot more to the cancellation (or lack of license renewal) of the series than just Riverdale. Though I do think that was one reason Archie didn't fight for the comic.

Yooo, I used to watch Sonic X every Saturday morning when I was younger. That and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were the highlight of my motherfuckin' day.

When I was a kid we didn't watch Cartoons. We played outside and threw sheep shit at eachother.

I find it weird even being 23, where technology has changed so much as I've grown up. People always freak out when I tell them I never watched Spongebob Squarepants as a kid, because when I was younger it was on ITV and our TV aerial didn't pick up ITV. Then when we got Sky (satellite) I only got to choose what was on TV in the mornings cause we only had the one, so it was basically Pokémon.

@Star Lord Don't worry about contributing to the OOC, the real trick is surviving it, as the last page and a half proves.

When I really felt like Sonic's fandom was dead then I realized it was a good time to be a part of it.

The only thing I'll say is that it may be a stretch for Matt to be DA right out of law school like the sheet implies. It's an elected position and there's a lot, like a lot of politics involved to get to that level in a city the size of New York. ADA would be good though. Unless he spent years as an ADA before making the leap and you planned on mentioning it in the actual posts. If that's the case then I'm good.

They call him Byrd 'The Factual Stickler' Man for a reason!

But yeah, I agree with my Co-GM. Everything else looks good, and as soon as you've edited to reflect the change suggested, you're pretty much good to go.

I've made a small edit to rectify the issue discussed; hope this is alright to be chucked into the character's tab?

There's a reason he's Superboy and not Superman.

Have I done that before? I was just gonna let that be a recurring motif in that post. Don't really care much for Korn, I did like Never Never when I was fourteen though. On the other hand, I do luv luv luv Incendiary.

Edit: The short answer is "Probably not".
