[b]Brief Bio:[/b] An eccentric philanderer, a gambler and a crook, Galen Gallatin, going by the alias 'Urik', is a man of many faces and many fames. His life began simply enough, an orphan from a broken home who struggled with the other urchins in the streets, looking for whatever pieces of scrap food that could be found. Life was hard, but then, a break-through: It was one day while he was trading words with the city guard that the child began to notice the strange power he possessed. He had a way with words, he could say the most outlandish things and make people believe them, trick others, however temporarily, into following his directions. It didn't take long for him to become the leader of his little group of orphans and from there he expanded into new city venues. Urik began to make a name for himself in gambling halls and pubs, using his powers to manipulate games of chance. Sometimes he played fair, others not so much. Through his "skill" he obtained many items, clothes and gold, weapons, even a noble's signet ring, one of his most prized possessions. With gold in his pockets, he set out to travel the world, cleaning out towns whenever he stopped.
