I imagine the fact they just accepted Huntress poses another point of how many similar characters will they accept without a standout or unique perspective on the very important issue of mobster murder.
Yes but Huntress has a defined direction, I think that's what's being gotten at.
She won and with that victory realized she was confident that she had collected all she needed to return to Gotham and track down every last person who was involved with her family's demise; she was finally ready to begin the final stage of a plan that was over a decade in the making. A plan to avenge her parents, whether Gotham could handle two vigilantes at the same time or not.
She knows exactly who she is gunning for, and that's what she's going to do.
In his despair Jack decided to take his revenge out on the scum of the city and the bureaucrats that helped create the problems. Jack crafted a costume and name for himself to get his revenge. His name was now Wild Dog and he was going clean the filthy streets of Chicago one bullet at a time.
It's very general, right now it's a case of "going after everyone". With guns, and some kinda impromptu costume and name, exactly what punisher did. There are also ideas for how Huntress fits into the wider world, working in Gotham and how she may interact/affect the Batman. There's none of that to Wild Dog. To me, as an impartial party to this it seems very much like: "This isn't the Punisher. Promise, it's Wild Dog. They're different."
